Relaxing and Swimming
The communal swimming pool which belongs to the enclosure of weekend homes and has a playground next to it was the main attraction for my kids - two of three learned swimming there. The Location is very nice, very rural, with a nice view on Lake Garlate but you need a car and need time to get to the nice areas of Lake Como. We had a little ant-problem at the end of our stay but we could sort it out with Nic very easily. Communication with him is very excellent and he's very fast to answer any of your questions. All in all - very recomendable!

Super Poolanlage + Tennisplätze, ruhige Lage
+Die Gemeinschaftsanlage ist sehr groß, toll und gepflegt + der Selbstcheckin war problemlos + der Vermieter hat auf Anfragen immer sofort geantwortet und ist sehr nett Die Anlage liegt sehr idyllisch und ruhig aber weit weg vom Comersee. Das Appartement ist sehr einfach eingerichtet.

Tolle Lage, tolle Anlage, wenn auch keine Luxusvilla
Die Beschreibung auf FeWo war etwas missverständlich. Es war ein normales Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung (aber kein Ofen, kein Wäschetrockner, kein Boot). Dafür war die Anlage mit Pool, Tennis und anderen Sportmöglichkeiten wirklich sehr gut. Nic hat sich wirklich gekümmert, war immer ansprechbar. Großes Lob! Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Great facilities, okay accommodation
A well located (isolated, nature, views) complex with great pool (heated) and good tennis courts. A basketball/volleyball court and table tennis facilities are also available. The accommodation is fine but can’t be called a luxury villa. It is not big but has what one needs.

Très bon séjour !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La résidence est magnifique (grande piscine peu fréquentée, tennis, basket...) et il n'y a quasiment que des italiens. La maison est agréable, calme, la vue très belle sur le Lac de Leco et Nic très serviable. Quelques (tous petits points) d'amélioration : quelques couverts et chaises supplémentaires ne seraient pas du luxe, et il faut préciser dans l'annonce qu'un des lits double est dans le salon (canapé lit). Sinon au top !

Great spot to explore Lake Como from
We had a lovely time at the resort and would definitely recommend a trip for families and couples alike. The pool is massive and the kids loved the basketball / tennis courts as additional distractions. Communication with Nic was very easy and he was always very responsive. The accommodation was perfect for a family of 4 and 2 youngish kids. The only downsides (and they weren’t a major problem) is that the apartment walls are quite thin and you could hear your neighbours (and viceversa I assume), equally a slightly more upmarket BBQ wouldn’t go a miss. That said I would happily return.

Depaysement
Nous rentrons de 15j à Galbiate. La résidence est très bien aménagée et idéale pour une famille. (piscine surveillée, terrains de tennis, ping-pong, baby foot, terrain de pétanque) tout est prévu. La seule difficulté si nous devions en trouver une serait l accès le 1er jour mais nos repères ont été très vite trouvés. Je recommande cette location proche de Lecco, Côme, Milan et Varenna (gros coup de cœur)

Authentic italian vacation

Extraordinary place
The residence is a unique place surrounded by nature with a magnificent view on the lake. It is terrific for whole days around the swimming pool and the sport facilities, and also for trips to Milan, Bergamo, etc. We had peace and fun. Contact with the owner was excellent: pragmatic and friendly. We enjoyed the house, which has good facilities for a holiday.

Kids paradise with free views
We had a lovely stay at Le Terrazze. The house is quite basic (cooking for 4 was a bit of a challenge) but the property is perfect and well maintained. Our kids (8 and 12) had a fantastic time in the awesome pool, and so did we. Kudos to owner Nic who was very helpful and provided us with many tips and things to do in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended. Don't forget to bring your walking boots!

If it's views you're after, look no further...
We spent two very happy weeks here - 2 adults and 2 kids aged 4 and 5. The view from the house is stunning, overlooking the Lecco end of Lake Como. The pool (just 2 mins from property) is immaculate and again has amazing mountainous vistas. The house is basic although has everything you need and a great shower. It was a bit hot at night (though we were there when it was unusually hot for this part of Italy), however the provided fans kept us comfortable enough. Nic was a charming and attentive host and we were lucky enough to have his daughter's beautiful cello music to accompany our evening aperitifs looking out over the lake. The wee nearest town, Galbiate, is just a short drive away and has a lovely bakery/cafe and the AMAZING Bellagio and Colico (neither to be missed) are only 40 mins drive away. This is a holiday we will not forget - is there a friendlier place than Italy? I think not.

Verry relaxing house and environment
Verry good host. Nice en quiet and relaxing environment. The house is not at the swimming pool, but a short walk away. It is really nice to have a garden, but the garden needs a little attention. It is not save for small children because at the end of the garden there is a dropoff of about a 2 meter. The house had evreything you need including children's toys, dinner ware and high chair. The interiour of the house is a little dated but in perfect working order. There are a lot of nice destinations in the vecinity, bergamo, varena, piona, lecco, milano etc. But you really need a car because the location of the house is a little remote.

Great place to stay for a quiet relaxing holiday
The property is a basic but adequately furnished house with views of Lake Como from the front garden and set in a lovely, well maintained, recreational park with large clean pool and various play and sporting amenities. The house benefits from having a dishwasher and washing machine. The communication with the owner was excellent. Emails with questions were replied to within a few hours and telephone contact where necessary was pleasant and friendly. We stayed there as 4 adults and a baby. The only reason we have not given 5 stars is because there were only 2 garden chairs. The other chairs were new bistro type chairs which are not comfortable to sit on for a long time. We purchased extra chairs while we were there. A tip for future clients would be to use the pull out bed in the smaller bedroom only for a child. Luckily the owner had also made up the sofa bed in the living area which we used instead. The only other comment is that a lock on the bathroom door would have been appreciated. We were offered the chance to stay on and would have loved to do that. We shall certainly return. Next time for longer. Our thanks to Nic for all his attention.

Very gentle and educated family, very pleasant and nice guests to have. Constructive feedbacks are always wellcome: the property has 2 sun chairs in the garden and and two sun beds in the swimming pool. Bathroom key was lost by other guests and will be replaced. Additional chairs could have easily been made available on request.

A perfect holiday, in a perfect place
The apartment was as described & had everything that we needed. The owners even left us their tennis rackets to use. The pool is great, very clean & well maintained. And the neighbours were delightful too. We are considering returning next year, it was that good!

Heerlijke vakantie!
We kijken terug op een heerlijke vakantie! Het ontvangst en contact door/met de eigenaar was hartelijk en flexibel (aankomsttijd). Het huisje bevindt zich in de bergen en daardoor is het uitzicht op het meer en de bergen geweldig! Omdat het wat hoger in de bergen ligt, is de temperatuur 's nachts aangenaam. De rit op en van de berg kent wel wat hobbels en bochten. Huisje voldeed aan onze verwachtingen (op basis van de foto's en beschrijving). Het park is mooi en goed onderhouden. Het zwembad is ruim, schoon en was nooit overvol! Een auto is wel noodzakelijk als je er op uit wilt! We hebben veel uitstapjes gemaakt: Milaan, Bergamo, Lecco, Como, Bellagio, Varenna, Galbiate, Jungle Raider Park (bomen klimmen)en natuurlijk naar het meer zelf! Lecco is het dichtstbijzijnde stad met winkels en restaurants. In de omgeving zijn genoeg restaurants (maar niet op loopafstand, auto noodzakelijk). Wel wat last gehad van muggen(beten). We kunnen deze locatie zeker aanraden!

Great guests and very nice family, a pleasure to host. They enjoyed very much the stay, children had a lot of fun, and parents hopefully some deserved rest. This year June was partivularly rainy throughout Europe and mosquitos have anticipated their normal reproductive cycle. The problem has been taken to the attention of the administrator who will anticipate mosquitos control procedures next year.

Nice house with swimpool and playgroud for kids
It was a very nice place to stay. House is perfect with kids! There's enough to do (trampoline in the garden, toys in the house, swimpool and playground). Beautiful view, hiking from the house is possible, central place to visit Lecco, Bellagio and Milan. 10 min away from Comomeer/ Lecco and 45 min drive to Milan. The owner Nic is also very nice!

Darling Lake Como Area Retreat
This very clean and bright two bedroom, sleep 4+ as has a pill-out sofa, 'casita' is an idyllic getaway in a hilltop gated community with immaculate big heated pool, tennis courts and kids play area. Ideal for couple or family with young kids who enjoy the outdoors as fresh air and scenic beauty abound . Bottom floor has living room and kitchen which is fully stocked, including washing machine. Upstairs bedrooms include single and double bed with small bright balcony off master bedroom. Tons to do in the area from cycling , hiking , swimming, golfing, sailing and sightseeing around the lake. Nic is a gracious host who keeps the property immaculate, and has included everything needed for small children to be safe and happy, from high chair to bed guard rails to kids eating utensils to toys !! The tiny village of Galbiate has good places for coffee and pastries and food markets for cooking at home .
