This chalet looks just like the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. Our daughters loved the hot tub and we enjoyed the arcade games and outdoor area. We did spot a few bears very close by so you have to we aware of your surroundings. The reason I didnā€™t give this five stars is because the master bedroom is very small and cramped. There is no closet and the dresser has extra blankets in some of the drawers so we were living out of our suitcase. The upstairs bedroom is roomier but no closet there either. We didnā€™t plan to cook meals while we were there so the kitchen was fine for us but I think it would be really difficult due to very minimal counter space and no dishwasher. Another downfall is the parking. We have a small SUV and Iā€™m not sure how we wouldā€™ve fit another vehicle. The little parking area is right next to a little drop off by the creek and the road on the other side. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

The property was extremely clean upon arrival, and matched the online description perfectly. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub works flawlessly (I would say that the addition of a stool for entry/exit to the hot tub would be convenient, but that is literally our only critique/suggestion). Everything worked and we had no issues during our stay. Communication regarding our reservation and stay was timely and thorough. We will definitely look into this rental again for our next Gatlinburg stay.

The location was very convenient and the home had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice, too. Maybe a little picky but the things I didnā€™t love - The pictures of the property were great, and well staged. What the photos didnā€™t show (and understandably it was likely on purpose) is that the next door property is very close. I never used the patio /outdoor fire area because of a) proximity of neighbors and b) it wasnā€™t well maintained for early spring - very weedy, hadnā€™t been cleared of debris, etc. The seating areas With TVs were comfortable for only 2 people so we couldnā€™t all be together easily at the end of the day. Finally, the pictures were accurate but the kitchen was smaller than I expected. No easy way to make meals. All in all, it was good but not great. If we come back to Gatlinburg, Iā€™ll likely look for a different place to stay - especially for the total cost.

Perfect for our family of four. The cabin was clean and location was nice to walk downtown (about 10-15 minutes to the Main Street). The only complaint was that the hot tub wasnā€™t working and I had difficulty getting ahold of someone who could help. They were able to send someone out to fix it, but didnā€™t communicate that with us.

Super close to downtown, so didn't have to pay for parking. Not a view, but we understood that being that close to downtown. Very clean, would consider actually getting a smaller bed for more room for bags and such as we had to use the kitchen table to put some of our bags / clothes. However, for a weekend trip it was perfect. I would highly recommend for someone who wanted to be in the middle of it all in no time and wasn't necessarily wanting to spend time in the woods.

Amazing chalet in the heart of Gatlinburg. Perfect for a family of four. Fun house with the hot tub and 2 video games. We loved staying here and would totally stay here again. The outdoor space was great as well. Kitchen was super small but we made it work.

We had a wonderful stay at the e Alpine Chalet. Super convenient location to the main strip but not right in the busy hussle and bussle! Could use more kitchen counter space for preparing food and maybe a closet or two but overall 5/5!! Great place:)

The cabin was small, cozy, and super cute. The location was close enough to the parkway that popping down to grab something to eat was easy, but just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The outdoor space is beautiful- when not out and about we spent our time enjoying the creek side patio with wood burning outdoor fireplace (bring firewood!) or the hot tub on the upstairs back deck. Weā€™d definitely stay here again!

Very nice property very close to the bustle of Gatlinburg. The road it was on looks a little sketchy with some of the construction material about, but it is a quiet road and seems very safe. Parking was mentioned in the other comments, and we found it to be lacking as well. There is no way we could park two cars (an SUV and Charger) right in front of the home, so we parked the car down a bit on a cement pad. Parking near the drop off of a creek is a little precarious, however with some help, I was able to do it. The home was very nice. The hot tub was great, we enjoyed being out on the porch and "protected", but still feeling outside. It was a super relaxing trip and its always nice to turn on a gas fireplace at night, even in June. The bed was comfortable and it was a nicely decorated home. There is no dishwasher, but it was fine. We had access to the washer and dryer. There were a couple of old time video games (Pac Man was one). Fun city for a quick getaway. One thing was that we had asked for an early check in and I did not receive a reply for 3 days... then they asked if I wanted to buy a late check out. It was fine, we dropped off one car and explored... but no one seemed to come to the house that afternoon and I think the early check in could have been extended to us. I much prefer dealing with VRBO owners rather than big company property mgmt company's. There never seems to be an effort to accommodate unless there is an additional charge with a property mgmt (and for two days we were paying a lot). Just something I have to remember. Overall, the home fit what we were looking for and was in the heart of the city (and the hot tub was a really nice amenity).

This was the PERFECT place to stay to explore everything Gatlinburg has to offer. This chalet was quaint and had everything we needed for our stay. It was within walking distance of downtown and a couple minutes of driving to get everywhere else we needed to go. The chalet was also in pristine condition and gave us a homey feel from the second we entered until we left. Couldn't recommend this place more.

What a great place to stay. The cabin was perfect. This owner has thought of everything. There wasn't anything I reached for that they didn't have. We loved the cabin and how close it is to the strip. The beds were so comfortable. We all were tired and a little stress when we arrived and we left feeling revitalized. PAC man was great fun too as it was a childhood favorite for all of us šŸ˜‰. This cabin wonā€™t disappoint. We will definitely be back.
