Place was peefect for.my wife who is in a wheelchair. When we got their the lines were all clogged and they couldnt get them unstopped. So they offered us a new place which was just as good, but it was not as wheelchair acessable as i would have liked. Easy to get to main floor with a ramp but all the beds were on the top and bottom floor. It was not easy to get her to the bed because we had to carry her and it was not easy getting her a bath. Other than that we had a great time.

Great place definitely coming back great communication great location and definitely over piced the only thing that wasnt the best was the pool table and air hockey table wasnt in the best shape but over all great place

Amazing

This cabin was amazing! Perfect place to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. The space for the 9 guests we had was a plenty. Amazing views while relaxing in the hot tub and the kitchen was a great size for cooking as a family. Very relaxing vibe and we all had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend this cabin for family fun and relaxation. We will definitely stay here again.

Family vacation/honeymoon

We had a great stay over Thanksgiving. There were 12 of us so we loved the abundance of space and bathrooms!! The beds are extremely comfortable. However the couches have seen better days. The cushions have zero support. The place was well equipped snd clean. There were a number of dead yellow jackets that we discovered when my son stepped on one and had a sting on the bottom of his foot. The video racing games were not working but someone showed up to fix them before we even notified anyone. the heat on the bottom floor was not working on the last night. We never got the temperature to adjust much the entire stay but it was not a big deal until the last night when the temps outaide dropped. We did not get in until late so there was no way to have it fixed before we left. I messaged the owner but did not hear back (again, it was late). Im sure they would have taken care of it quickly if we were not leaving the next morning. They were very responsive. I would for sure stay here again The view's are amazing! Just know its is a long ride up and down the mountain and a fair distance from everything. 30 min minimum.Just factor that into tour schedule. min)tim. one

Family reunion disaster

Property manager knew water was not working three days prior to our arrival and NEVER communicated with us! My family drove 9 hours from Ohio and we drove 4…just to arrive between 4 and 5 to no water! Mind you this was a very special reunion vacation that had been planned for a year and we had 9 people in our cabin! We were told after many back and forth phone calls…in which we were all very patient and cordial…that they would give us a refund but we had to immediately vacate the cabin or “be charged additional money.” I had to repeatedly explain to her that the refund would take 5-10 days to post to my account so we could not afford another cabin. We had no choice but to stay there and “wait for the water to come back on” which never happened till late at night on our second to last night there. We were very clear we expected a very hefty refund…yet they still refuse to make it right to this day! No one bothered to bring water out to us so we spent tons of vacation money on water and basic survival items! Never got to enjoy the hot tub since we required that water to flush our toilets! Tons of yellow jackets inside and outside cabin…with no spray available or anything. Two members of our family were stung…more money spent on first aide as well as additional stress. Game and ping pong table broken…as was pull out bed on one side. Notified manager and have pictures! The only good thing was the gorgeous view. Where’s our refund?? basic survival items! We could

Family getaway

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay!!! Loved the open concept had a great time with the family. Did have an issue with the hot tub, called and it was IMMEDIATELY taken care of. The ONLY NEGATIVE: The pool table/ping pong table was broken and unable to be used. Other than that no complaints would definitely recommend!!

Breathtaking Views!!

My family and I had a 9 night stay here. The property was exactly as described. Plenty of room for 7 adults. The common area was perfect to be all together but not on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean. We had an issue with the hot tub the first day. Communication was very good with the property owner. Someone was out the next day. Ceasar who they sent was awesome! He actually came 2 times on a Sunday to make sure everything was working as it should. The views from this cabin are so amazing. The road up to the cabin is windy and steep, but so worth it to see that view every morning! Not too far out from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but still secluded so we never felt like we bothering anyone. The cabin sits back by itself so there are no direct neighbors and the sky is full of stars because there are not houses around you.We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful views of the smokies

My husband and I took our family to Gatlinburg as their Christmas gift. The cabin was big enough and comfortable for all 13 of us. The view of the Smokey mountains was absolutely breathtaking . The drive up the mountain to the cabin was a little scary for me, but totally worth it. Upon our arrival the bunk room ceiling was leaking from the air conditioner, maintenance was there promptly to fix it. The main level air conditioner went out our first day there, due to ordering of parts we had no air the remainder of our stay. Beds were comfortable. The cabin could have been cleaned better from the last visitors. Overall we would stay here again.

Suggestions for Improvement

Overall loved the property. Things to improve on.. ants in the kitchen, water bug and moldy shower curtain in downstairs bath. Tried early on after booking to communicate with property manager but never got a response until reached out for a 3rd time a week or so before check in. There was a discrepancy in the online listing in regard to how far property was from Gatlinburg. Skillet in kitchen with non-stick coating is scratched and needs to be retired.

Absolute breathtaking views!

This property is gorgeous and secluded giving you much needed privacy if you have a large/loud crowd like we did. The property also provides plenty of parking for vehicles (we had 4) and space to easily leave/park without disrupting the whole parking regimen. The large space allows for everyone to be in the same vicinity and still do their own activities! We did have some issues with one of the bedrooms not being properly cleaned (trash found around the room) and the air conditioning took a bit to cool the entire space due to the hot temperatures! Owners/management were easily accessible and checked in frequently. When we had the housekeeping issues and air they immediately offered to send maintenance and housekeeping over. Initially, when we booked this property, we believed we were going to be within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg—however this was not the case. It is about a 20 minute drive and Pigeon Forge is 30-40 pending traffic. We realized this before leaving but it did not interfere with the time we had! The description currently is accurate and again, you cannot beat the views!

Potential for 5 stars

The property and accommodation is excellent with “sensational views”. I loved the openness of the great room and the layout of the house. However, the kitchen needs more supplies such as potholders, extra linens, additional silverware, plates, wine glasses, etc. I was very disappointed in communication with property owners. The hot tub was not working and it took 3 phone calls and a text message and 2 days to get someone out to fix it. Even then, the jets were still not working properly so we didn’t get to enjoy that. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey and ping pong table combination and had a very enjoyable stay. The cleaning crew was still working after our check in time so that was a little inconvenient. Overall, I loved the location and the facility and with a little more effort it could really be a wonderful 5 star getaway.

Boys Mountain Retreat

An absolutely perfect place to hang out, play games, and relax. The layout of the house makes it all too easy. It's located at the end of the road and kinda tucked away so you don't ever see passing cars or other people. Id definitely stay here again.

Excellent family trip

Had an amazing time and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere to eat! Had plenty of space for cooking and having large family meals. Everyone had plenty of space to hang out and the kids loved all the games! Already planning our next trip and will be staying here again!
