From this location I was able to easily navigate Berlin. The staff were also friendly, and helpful. However, my room had several issues that weren't resolved during the stay. The lights would not turn fully off, the desk lamp had no light bulb, the phone to reception didn't work, and the toilet would not flush. They attempted to resolve the issues, but they recurred. The staff did try their best, and I was given a few free drinks for the inconvenience. But at over 100 Euro a night, I at least expect to flush the toilet and control the lights.

This hotel is lovely the pillows r awful they r lumpy. The bar was shut Sunday and Monday when we arrived and this was a bank hol Monday too. There is no restaurant only for breakfast which was very good. We paid extra for a balcony which was covered in weeds and unkempt.

This was a fabulous hotel! All the staff were super helpful and friendly — too many to name. Lovely spacious room and the laundry facilities were super helpful. In a great location also to many sites, transportation, the mall and restaurants. Will definitely be back! Thank you Mandala

24 Sep 2019Once you’re at the middle of the memorial, stop for a beer at the wee boat place before continuing down and taking a right across the bridge. Here, you’ll find a wealth of eateries and cafes, and the most amazing ice cream parlour.

23 Aug 2019Watch out for the scammers playing the game where you find the ball under the cups. Targeting tourists. One chap was scammed out of £500 euro’s. They are masters at it! Be warned!
