« Alpine Ranch is wonderful! Clean, quiet, peaceful, everything you could want is provided. Very cozy, comfortable retreat. Lots of birds in a beautiful oak grove, best place for a morning coffee. Excellent location for exploring wine country. We had a wonderful time - definitely coming back. Caroline is an awesome host! Always quick replies, great recommendations, very knowledgeable. Ron is great. Only complaint is that we had to leave! Thank you again for such a great place. »

« We had a lovely stay—Henri’s home is gorgeous. The house and property is breath taking and out of a magazine. The master bed and bath was huge, and the two additional bedrooms were nice. There’s a guest house with a 3rd bathroom. We didn’t receive check in or check out instructions, but Henri was quick to reply when I asked a question or sent a message. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. »

« Wonderful place with clean renovated interior and great outdoor deck! Everything was furnished, big open kitchen.Two full bathrooms. Master in-suite bathroom is very small. Shared bathroom is quite large. Be aware when booking there is a long walkway to house that cars are not permitted to drive on. Let Nilius know if anyone in your party has trouble walking. Nilius is very attentive and responsive. All in all, a near-perfect stay when visiting wine country. »

« Great experience at the house! It was very clean and the description is accurate. Andre was very attentive in providing updates regarding the harvest and making sure we had everything needed. The wine he offers for purchase are very good! We were able to relax and even saw the Milky Way with clear skies. »

« Lovely location. Beautiful yard. Wish we would have had more time to spend in the outdoor areas Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Few minor issues (nothing that affected our stay) with the home. Owners said they'd come the next day, but never did. We likely would stay there again if in the area. »

« This vacation retreat is located on a tree filled hill side, 2 miles from downtown Calistoga. It is very private and serene. The home has a beautiful wrap around deck outside the French door lined living room that makes you feel as if your floating above ground. There is a view of the hills that is enchanting beyond belief. The home is furnished with attention to detail and comes with anything you might need during your stay. « Nice house in a beautiful location. We had some issues checking in (they changed the lock box code and didn’t tell us), no wifi, no cellular service and no water our first night. This made it trying especially since we were travelling with small children, but the property manager did everything they could to help. We really appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the wine and food at Bricoleur. Deacon was the best host! He met us on the days that we checked in and out, and was very responsive via text.
