„In general the sugar bay barbados is nice. The location at the beach is really nice as well as the location in general. In front of the resort are some stones which lead to a quiet sea for taking a carribean like bath. We needed to change our room as our first room had a really strong smell of mould and ants were in our bed. „The furniture was worn out, the bed only squeaked when moved, the patio furniture was dirty, and some of the outdoor cushions were dirty and torn. No adapters for charging with European plugs. Room service was poor and inattentive. Tiles were missing in the pool. Also no parasol on the terrace to protect yourself from the sun. Kitchen appliances were very worn and partly broken. Some of the kitchen cabinets didn't close properly or were worn out.“

„Very impressed from check in to food and drinks to check out. Service was exceptional. I imagine they spent a lot of effort with their staff. Everyone was helpful, warm, and happy as well as always went an extra mile. Place is quite cool, modern, and trendy but certainly quite different to the traditional Barbados. Excellent food as well.“
