  • The Loft is part of a 100+ year old building that has been fully renovated giving guests a unique stay. The Loft consists of one upstairs bedroom with a king size bed, setting room, kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower and washer/dryer.

    When entering The Loft you will see an open concept with a 15 ft ceiling and brick wall with an outline of the large back door and windows of the original building. The decor theme is local heritage with a focus on our farming community.

    The property consists of one UPSTAIRS bedroom (open loft) with a king size bed, two night tables, and a hanging clothing rack.

    There are two upper windows that are open to the street. There are NO window coverings! Directly across the street from The Loft are the city police and fire station.

    The main level consists of a small gathering space with two chairs and a TV along with a kitchenette with a retro style refrigerator and microwave. The stocked bathroom has a small walk-in shower and stackable washer and dryer.

This was my first VRBO experience and what a great one!! My fiance and I go somewhere fairly close to antique shop every weekend and this was absolutely our best weekend as far as the accommodations. The owners answered all my questions and made The Loft such a beautiful and inviting place to stay. Perfectly clean and decorated so cute (I gained some inspiration. Lol). The hospitality, communication, location and extra touches were top notch!!! I hadn't been to Girard in years and staying here just made it even better!

Excellent spot for a home base if you’re just seeing family or checking out all the exciting sites in SEK!;) Lots of little amenities, clear communication with the host, easy access and parking and clean and easy at this price point. Don’t expect a ton of room but expect a cozy vibe with everything to you need to stay refreshed for outings or family happenings. East Side cafe is right on the square for breakfast… you can just walk over there!

We were completely blown away when our host open the door to the loft. It was so "simply elegant" the personal touches were so effective in making it feel like home. I totally appreciate the host meeting us at the loft (which wasn't planned) and giving us a tour, explaining what they done and what the artifacts meant to her and family. The personal touch and not an app made us feel we made a new friend. Would we come back oh that's a big "YES" in fact the wife wanted to book the loft again 2 years from now. They really thought out everything you would really need for a stay ( wife love they had straws for her) real refrigerator, washer/dryer, night light for going up and down the stairs at night, sitting area for the tv and even bottled water in the refrigerator. Total thumbs up on our stay here.
