« Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road. Road is 45 mph so people are hustling on the road but you can see a good half mile or more in each direction. Driveway is steep and not a ton of room,...

« This property was beautiful.Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked with essentials. Instructions were well written for air conditioning and fans. The location was on Lake Galway. The lake is clean and quiet with only electric or paddle boats. It is very relaxing spot. Owner responsive. »

« Our stay was a great one! The location was perfect and the lake access, with private beach and kayaks, was a huge bonus for my kids. The cabin was a good size for our family of four. We wanted to be close to Camp of the Woods, but be on our own meal schedule, so we could not have had a better location. Being right next to the Speculator Inn was another bonus. Check-in and out was easy, communication was great with the owner. We're hoping to come back again! »

« Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. »

« Came in for the weekend to attend 2 DMB shows at SPAC and to have a field trip for my senior dog. Both Me and my Dog loved the place. Super peaceful area and in a reasonable distance to SPAC. One negative is that the AC wasn’t too great. It’s ok in the loft sleeping area, but downstairs stays pretty warm, and I was here during cooler summer temps. Just be mindful of that if you like your AC like I do. »

« This is a beautiful cottage in the woods and you really feel like you are out there! You are only a few min down the road to Wells though. The cottage was gorgeous, every room and very comfortable. Everything was there, we wanted for nothing. We spent a fair amount of time in the gazebo playing games, again very nice and also used the firepit. A short ride by some deer in the woods will take you to wells. A nice beach for the kids, w lifeguards. Uncle carls coffee is a great find here...
