Holiday Family Meet Up-Ski Trip

This home was perfect for an after-Christmas gathering/ski trip with our family from across the country. The space is perfect with an owner's suite on the first floor and then great spaces on the upper and lower levels to comfortably accommodate our group. The home is extremely well-stocked (better than any other rental we have stayed at) and we cooked most meals here either inside or using the grill on the deck. We appreciated the owners encouraging us to use some of their essentials. It was a very quick drive to the mountain and we were then able to avoid parking most days as we alternated skiing. Granby Ranch was a great spot for our group of skiers. Some reviews mentioned that the driveway is steep but it was plowed and there was sand and salt in the garage that we were able to use so it wasn't a problem (although we had all four-wheel drive vehicles-which are essential for these mountain passes during ski season anyway). Several people mentioned that more chairs would be helpful. We used a bench to add to the dining room table when gathering the full group to the table so that worked out fine. The owner was timely and extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns.

Great weekend home. A caution on the driveway…

Great house and was enjoyed by both kids and adults! One word of caution…do not book this home if you have a two wheel drive. The driveway is steep and icy and is challenging even with an SUV. Our babysitter had to park her Subaru in the neighbors driveway on Sat night bc it was impossible to get up or down. Otherwise all was great!

Ski weekend with large family

Even better than pictures-perfect place for our extended family. Chosen for location to smaller ski resort to have little ones try skiing. The house had everything we needed for all ages. We want to come back!!

The perfect spot!

Wow! We lucked out finding this property for our NYE ski weekend. The home was beautifully cared for, pantry stocked, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a quick drive to Winter Park and it’s proximity to the City Market was perfect for last minute food/beverage needs. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Family vacation

Check-in was easy. We arrived early and were able to unload. There were beds for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Layout of bedrooms and common areas was very good. Downstairs bedroom was cold but the others were fine. Eating together was a problem with only 6 chairs and 3 stools. The steep driveway was a challenge with snow and ice. The house was comfortable and allowed all in our family to be together.

Enjoyed the mountain get-away

Our family came here to relax, have fun and celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! The house was even more than is described! The home is very comfortable and homey! We sure enjoyed the deck and back patio. I don’t think the pictures really show just how big the back patio is. Very nice area with the plants and trees. The grandchildren really enjoyed the bunk beds and toy room! Would sure rent again if going to be in the area.

Birthday Celebration

There were 4 families that stayed in the house with ample room for everyone. We all had a wonderful time! We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of bedding and pillows to accommodate everyone and the heated floors were oh so nice! The only downside was the driveway. It was very steep and icy but that is to be expected in the winter, in the mountain's. Would definitely stay again!

Midwest Families First Ski Trip

Appreciated the supply of hand, laundry, dish soaps, as well as paper products in this post pandemic time. The close proximity to skiing and sledding was great for us. Great kitchen for cooking. Could use some more seating for feeding large family so we ate in shifts. Really enjoyed our time together.

beautiful property fantastic experience ! coffee in the backyard as the sun rises and cocktails on the deck watching the sunset ! we were in Granby for our son’s wedding and had guests stopping by to visit througout the weekend and everyone loved the property ! the house was clean, very well stocked and Matthew responded quickly to any questions we had!! there were 3 couples staying at the large house and it offered lots of privacy and worked out perfectly, but we had several empty beds. to get the maximum out of the house it would be perfect for 3 large families with a Bunch of kids of all ages!

We stayed here 7/21 for 4 days. It was a beautiful home and had everything We needed! The house was a beautiful home and the area was perfect with mountains in the background. The kids had a lot of things to do hiking to see the gazebo and walking around the neighborhood! The home was big enough for our family of 18! The owner was very helpful with all.my questions!
