„We were in town to hike and not looking for anything fancy, so this was the perfect place for our low budget. Cheap, old-school motel walking distance from downtown. The staff is nice and helpful - especially Susan! The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Grocery store, bars, restaurants, dispensary within a few blocks. Nothing fancy but a good deal for such a last minute purchase. “

„This was an excellent location but they are upgrading. The drain in the shower was clogged with hair the faucet was loose so we had to hold it up so we could get the shower on. Also they use styrofoam still. The doors stuck because they painted and closed before it was completely dry. “

„Luxurious Stay in the Lumber Baron’s Suite. We loved the spacious suite, lake view, balcony, comfy king bed, and seating areas. Our dinner of small plates at the restaurant was delicious, exquisitely plated, and accompanied by refreshing creative mocktails. (Of course, they have cocktails, too.) All the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean with tasteful decor. The fresh fruit and muffins at the continental breakfast were a cut above the typical.“

„Die White Pine Lodge war für uns bei einer Übernachtung völlig ausreichend. Der Service war in Ordnung, die Zimmer auch. „Eines der besten B&B, das wir je besucht haben! Der grandiose Ausblick auf den Lake Superior vom Außendeck, unserem Chapel Room oder dem Wohnzimmer, das genutzt werden kann, toppt alles! „Outstanding modernized cabin deep the forest. Full kitchen with gas stove, toaster, microwave and large-capacity coffeemaker. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. “
