„This is a quaint property near the end of the GunFlint Trail near the Boundry Waters. The rooms have their own mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. On the lake side is a huge deck overlooking the lake with cushioned seats and BBQ. There is a fully furnished community kitchen and game room.TV, fireplace, games and books for guest use. There is a fire pit on the lower level. It isn't fancy but very affordale and comfortable. Well worth the drive. Bring your own groceries, no close shopping.“

You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. The loft bed was super comfortable, the small kitchenette was perfect for making your own meals, the sauna was a great option to do some self care, followed by an outdoor shower! Campfires, stars galore and a great deck to enjoy facing Lake Superior! Always appreciate a dog friendly spot that charges a reasonable fee.
