« This place was prepped for our stay but not cleaned well at all. Pet oder was strong when we entered. We contemplated leaving but it was late so we did contact the host as VRBO suggested and she did come right away. She "re- made" the beds with new, clean sheets , replaced the maloderous towels with fresh towels, she addressed a couple of areas needing the most attention and we did stay. « A very well supply place, best I have rented. I would suggest that an outside light be added that is attached to driveway side of building by door that is motion activated and points where you park and stays on for 5 minutes. There is a steep hill followed by steps and the light by the door goes on when you are 3 feet away and seems to go off on one minute., This is beautiful inside and has a wonderful cabin feel. « Andrea was the hostess with the mostess! She really made the place feel welcoming, especially with the chocolates on every night stand. She really has thought of everything so if you forget anything at home she will probably have it on hand for you! The house is very charming and cozy. « The property was exactly as advertised. Brand new and one of the best thought out and planned vacation rentals we have stayed at. Everything was very modern, including the appliances and Wi-Fi, but it still had somewhat of a rustic country charm with the ship plank design and self done woodworking. « Nice property, quiet lake. Check in was an hour late as the cleaners were still on site. A little annoying after a 4.5 hour drive. So we waited outside, but then they came to mow the lawn so it was awkward and we had no where to go. Also the fridge is broken but there is a second one in the basement which was better than nothing but inconvenient when cooking 3 meals a day for 8 people. We followed the instructions for how to add food to the upstairs fridge and keep it cool- but did not work....
