Terrassenhotel mit Blick auf Strand und Batsi
Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, schön hell mit davor gelegener großzügiger Terrasse. Personal sehr freundlich. Man hat den Frühstücksbeginn um eine halbe Stunde auf acht Uhr für uns vor verlegt - nett.

We loved our stay Mare Vista in Batsi. It was close to everything and had convenient parking. We felt welcomed once we entered the hotel. Sophia and Aggeliki were awesome, they gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Rooms were clean and the view was amazing. The breakfast was a nice addition. Thanks for making our stay wonderful.

Mare Vista provides one of the best views in the world. The building itself is a little dated, but my room was clean and freshly painted. It had a huge patio to enjoy the magnificent view. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The front desk staff were so warm and welcoming you felt they really cared about your experience while there. The outside areas and pool were clean and ready for you to enjoy.

The hotel is much more dated than the pictures show. All the public areas are a bit measy and strange looking. The sunbeds are dirty and some are very worn out. The wind is very strong in Andros, and the shutters for the windows are really noisy, slamming all the time and some are broken. The hotel is too pricy for the state it is in. Breakfast was fantastic. Nick at front desk great. Beds were super comfortable. The only thing I can say is, as our time on the island was windy, they need to adjust shutter doors so they don’t bang in the wind.

A Short Visit
It is a very beautiful location. Up on a hill with amazing night views of the port and the city. The Byzantine church located in the left of the hill is lighted at night and it looks “divine”.

Geweldige locatie met prachtig uitzicht op de baai
Een geweldig verblijf in de plaats Batsi. Mooie ruime kamer, goede douche, prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk ontbijt. Dit alles maakt het verblijf in Batsi onvergetelijk. Op 5 minuten lopen van het strand en de restaurants. Ik ga zeker terug naar dit hotel en de plaats Batsi op Android.

Underbar service
Underbar service av personalen på hotellet. Bra att känna till att det finns inga affärer i närheten så man måste gå runt hela bukten på andra sidan i batsi för att köpa vatten och snacks. Gå inte till den stora stranden utan ta den lilla viken söder om hotellet. Den är mycket mysigare.

Family vacay with a baby
We had a super nice visit to Batsi - we had a family room, which was just perfect for us. Small kitchenette, separate bedroom and living room and a huge terrace. Weather was windy and a bit cold so we didnt try the pool. Very nice service, our stay was excellent altogether! Would recommend for families in a heart beat.

We hope to return as the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location overlooks Batsi village and the beach, all within walking distance. Private parking garage. Beautiful pool. Sumptuous breakfast. We highly recommend family owned Stamatis restaurant.

Stunning views, spacious and spotlessly clean
The Mare Vista enjoys a commanding hillside position overlooking beautiful Batsi bay. The views of the little harbour town are breathtaking and yet the waterfront tavernas and sandy beach are only a five-minute downhill stroll away. It takes a bit longer to climb the steep steps coming back, however. The hotel itself is spacious: our family room was more like a suite with a kitchen area, two bedrooms - one on an upper floor - and two balconies to soak up the views. All cleaned daily. The overall buildings are a little dated but the staff are extremely friendly and the large pool terrace has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast feels very home made and fresh.

I'd go back tomorrow if I could!
My fiancé and I stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel in the Andros village of Mbatsi. It is accessible from the main ferry port via the local bus system, and is located just a 5 minute walk up the hill from the main restaurants and shops on the beach. This means that there were beautiful views down onto the town from our room's balcony. The hotel has a nice rustic touch and a personal feel to it, but is very well presented with an on-site indoor-outdoor bar area, and a breakfast buffet serving a range of foods. We found the town of Mbatsi a great place to relax, and we felt safe leaving a bag on our beach lounger (not with any valuables!) whilst swimming in the warm (after the first shock) water of the sea. The hotel pool was large and a good temperature, and was never crowded when we went to swim. The staff were always happy and helpful, and we really enjoyed our whole stay. Only slight thing was that the double bed in our basic room was two singles pushed together. However, if I were returning to the Greek Islands, I would definitely come back to Andros and stay in the Mare e Vista Hotel again.

Kindly note that all our double beds made from singles have a bed coating on the top and special attachments in between in order to have a comfortable king size double bed. However there is one basic room with double bed and we will be very happy to provide it to you(subject to availability)on your next visit.

Suer hotel, zeer aangenaam verblijf
Ik verbleef hier een week, zeer fijn ontvangst. Kamer was top, ruim, schoon, mooi uitzicht. De mensen zijn hier super vriendelijke en doen er alles aan om je welkom te laten voelen. Ontbijt is prima, genoeg keus, fruit. Kamer is zeer fijn, met een regen douche en massage stand.

Batsi Andros September 2017
This Hotel was perfect for our stay - the staff and management provided everything we needed and were happy to help with travel arrangements and any queries - the family house with its two double rooms on two floors each with balcony was ideal for 4 and could have slept 6 without too much problem. Breakfasts were excellent with good varied daily choices. Location was perfect for all the Batsi amenities.The town and other local beaches had good shade - perfect swimming and snorkeling. An 8 Euro taxi ride to Kipri beach had excellent wind surfing and tuition. Access to well signed Andros Routes hiking was easy and a trip highlight for us with spectacular views and adventurous varied routes from the hotel giving us four full days hiking in different directions with many more options remaining.

On paie cher la vue (extraordinaire) sur la baie et la proximité avec la belle plage et le charmant port très animé le soir de Batsi ! certes l'appartement est spacieux (chambre, salon et cuisine séparés) et la literie est très bonne, belle piscine, mais l'hôtel mériterait une rénovation : décoration, robinetterie et peintures sont vieillissantes... L'ensemble est en fait très bétonné et plutôt rustique (les photos du site sont très valorisantes !), l'accueil est mou, le petit déjeuner quelconque (fruits et jus de fruits en conserve, qui piquent ! sauf pastèque et melon frais) dans une salle fermée entièrement (du jamais vu dans les Cyclades malgré le vent !) On trouve bien mieux dans les Cyclades dans la catégorie 4 étoiles. Surtout ne pas louer de voiture chez Anna Vretou (port de Gavrio), loueur pourtant conseillé par la réception : la gérante est tatillonne et froide, les prix élevés pour le genre et l'état déplorable de certaines voitures.
