How’s the serenity!

Had a lovely much needed get away with a group of friends. The view is gorgeous, made our stay very relaxing. Property had everything we needed, downstairs bathroom was a little dirty but overall very happy.

We arrived and were grateful to see the property was not only exactly like the photos but exceeded expectations. A beautiful Xmas tree was set up which was greatly appreciated by young and old. We were only expecting the living area to be air conditioned but were so pleased that the games room and 2 bedrooms were also air conditioned. 4 units in total and so many fans. Other things we were grateful for - an extra fridge downstairs, high chair and cot, safety gates for the stairs. The property has everything you could need and has access to a great beach just across the road. We had a wonderful family Xmas here.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Did you have a good overall stay?It was ok. The place is old but they renovated with new paint and furniture. Two stairs I don’t recommend if you have children. It’s not safe and if people are walking around upstairs it’s really loud. Was the vacation rental in a great location?The view is beautiful. Have to make sure you take everything as there’s no shops except the petrol station with some groceries.Was the home clean and in good shape?The home was clean but they expect you to do so much cleaning as it listed in the book kept in the house. We vacuumed the whole house and leave it tidy only left some dirt on the floor because we didn’t have time to mop and they ask for extra $120 plus the $120 that we already paid for cleaning fee before we checked in. Be careful when using the vacuum hang on the wall as the wall is really thin. We weren’t aware of that so we cracked the charger of the vacuum when the wall fall apart. We also had to pay $100 for it. WARNING: there were hundreds of black little worms at the property especially coming out at night. They need to check with their pest control. Was the vacation rental management staff helpful?Not at all. Had to wait over night to get answers. Unlike other Airbnb I stayed in the past. Normally host response immediately or 1 hour max. The host was unprofessional and accused us for using the fire place.

Guilderton has lots to offer such as twilight boat trips and daytime boat trips sand and water slides both excellent. The country club is fun for all especially the bingo night! Great holiday 😊
