The hosts make everything easy, with clear instructions and labels. We liked it so much, we came home and scheduled a return visit for the fall.“

He loves the large yard, watching the trails from the windows, and exploring the nearby beach and hiking trails with us.The home is simple, comfortable, and has everything needed for a few days away. During our last stay, the yard had become overgrown with foxtails, which can be dangerous for dogs. The owners responded quickly and sent a gardener, but the clippings were left behind, so we weren’t comfortable letting ...

„This is a very good place for a short stay. It is a bit small and the kitchen is small and does not support cooking meals. The view is somewhat limited butthe ocean is visible from the great windows. The location is excellant. There is plenty to do nearby from a hiking and nature standpoint and there are very good restaurants in nearby Half Moon bay. The host was very resposive.“

„Pros- The views are amazing! The place was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. Cons-I didn’t appreciate the fact that the back patio furniture had to be re-covered each time you finished, it made the patio look ugly. And although the town was walking distance, the hill was very steep and not for the weak.“

„The home was exceptionally clean and cozy. The layout was perfect for all 8 of us. The kitchen was well equipped. We had one issue with a wall heater that was promptly addressed by the owner. The location was fabulous. There are terrific hiking trails within walking distance, and the gorgeous Montara Beach is just a short walk away. It was a perfect getaway!“

„It’s not as nice as the photos. It’s tired and definitely not air conditioned. We went in the middle of July and it was so hot and miserable to be in a hot old home with no air conditioning. To top it off owner lives in 3rd bedroom of home and demands to keep right side of driveway clear for them to park. Meanwhile the garage is locked off, and the 3rd bedroom in the middle of the house and the back yard are locked off from any usage.. so all you get is 2 beds in a hot tired, dated home.  ...
