Grande déception

Lors de notre arrivée, l'hotel nous propose de nous transférer vers leur l'hotel soeur d'à côté et d'une qualité équivalente pour des raisons X. Notre embarquement sur le 2eme hotel est une déception. La chambre est une catégorie au dessous, au 4eme étage et sans ascenseur. La chambre à coucher et la salle de bain sont très serrées. L'hotel nous dit de juste venir voir l'hotel soeur, et on pourra faire un choix. Dans le fait c'est le contraire, qd on demande de retourner, il dit que la chambre précédente est déjà prise. Plus trop de choix, on acceptons 2,5$ de remboursement pour la différence de qualité des chambres. Petit conseil, n'acceptez pas changer de chambre à un autre hotel, sauf si vous n'avez pas de choix, car vous ne connaîtriez rien sur ce dernier hôtel.

A eviter absolument

Notre pire hotel au vietnam. Accueil froide, chambre horrible sans fenêtre pour les moins cheres, avec fuites d'eau et forte odeur d'humidité. La seul ventilation peu se faire par une petite fenetre sur la cage d'escalier avec tous les bruits et les odeurs de cuisine vietnamien à l'aube. Petit déjeuner tres sommaire limité à du pein de mie et quelques nouilles.

hôtel décevant

cet hôtel ne laissera pas un souvenir impérissable. la chambre fournie ne correspondait pas à la chambre réservée (chambre de luxe réservée, chambre standard fournie) ; et le manager s'en est à peine ému; il a tout juste accepté de compenser financièrement la différence. certains membres du staff disponibles et serviables, mais le manager était plus intéressé pour vendre des excursions que fournir une bonne prestation; sinon l'hôtel reste bien situé, au coeur de la vieille ville et non loin du lac "hoang hiem"

旧市街の中心部でハノイ大教会、ホアンキム湖、ドンスアン市場等１５分以内に徒歩圏でいける。 部屋に窓が無いのが残念、セフテイＢＯＸの使い方など丁寧に教えてくれた。 お湯も出たし　ままーだ

들어가면 종업원이 인사도 안하고 객실에는 청소도 제대로 안되어 머리카락이 수두룩함 시설도 엄청노후되었고 수건도 한장만 줌 금액에 비해 너무 후졌음

Cozy, Excellent Service & Strategic hotel

The hotel is strategically located in the CENTER of Old Quater! The staffs were very attentive to our requests and could speak English quite well which is a plus in Vietnam!

Disastrous, ripped off

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in I have paid for an Executive room with balcony, safe box, free wireless internet among other amenities for AUD 43,87(around 33 USD). However I was given a room without balcony, no safe box and almost unreachable internet signal. I asked the hotel staff for my executive room with balcony but they said Expedia informed them I only paid 24.73 USD for a Standard room and executive was expensive, 40 USD. I said that's what I paid for, but they blamed Expedia for booking a room cheaper than what I actually paid for. They laughed and said I should complain to Expedia. Ive stayed in better hotels in Vietnam for less than 20 USD a night, this was my last night there so wanted to spend it on a better room to see the difference. The room was terrible, mouldy bathroom, terrible layout, had to ask for the safe box, peeling paint on walls and doors, loose closet doors, it shouldn't be advertised on Expedia.

Disappointing first time in a very busy location

Problems booking in but this may not all be accounted to hotel staff - rather them listening to a friend who had arrived the previous day and apparently gave misleading information - despite a separate room booking which was paid for on booking. This was a 'superior' room, which on the internet has a window. When I finally got my 'reserved' room, it had no window and when I complained, was told it was on the reservation slip that there was no window, which it wasn't. The musty smell of the room was overwhelming and left me feeling sick. The door had swollen and did not lock because it did not shut properly. Such was the noise made trying to get it locked, the guest in the adjoining room came out to see what the commotion was. These problems were reported to the receptionist with a shrugged response. On the plus side, breakfast provided a choice of Asian type food as well as toast and a selection of cakes and fruit. The location is on a very busy shopping street. An elevator services the property.

good price and location

We stayed only 1 night in this hotel, the room was big and clean, great bathroom with a bathtub Good wifi connection day and night. Flat screen with many channels, also CNN, BBC and children channels. The staff spoke reasonable English, and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. If we had any problem or question, we just contacted staff and they would do anything to help us. Breakfast ok. Perfect location in old city.Overall the room and toilet are clean and the room rate is reasonable and over expectation.

Great Service

There is no doubt that this hotel is basic, but the friendly and attentive staff make up for any trivial deficiencies. Breakfast was reasonable, water pressure, good, and rooms, clean. If you're returning from Sapa early in the morning they offer free early check-in if there is a room available, which is unusual because most hotels in the area charge for an extra night or at least $15. The negative aspects we experienced could easily be fixed. For example, even though the sheets were clean, our mattress didn't have a protector on it, and the television had terrible reception. If they keep their prices competitive and do a bit of tweaking, we would happily recommend this hotel as a great stopover.

charming and luxury hotel with best location

I stay in Hanoi, but I have some guest from Ho Chi Minh City who like to stay in Old quarter, so I choose Silver Legend Hanoi Hotel. My first impressive is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful, They give me a lot of helpful advise such as where should I go for have lunch, dinner, shopping... The second thing is the room, it's not too large with superior but it have bat tub, aircondition, LCD television, hot water... I book the tour from Hotel to go to Sapa, It was fantastic. The staff always smile and open the door when you come in or go out. I'll come back this hotel again and tell my friend come there to stay.
