I really appreciate Rachel who welcomed me and made sure to know what time I was coming in to accommodate me. The room, house, and area were so beautiful. The breakfast was stellar as well, and I was able to take some food to go. Rachel was more than welcoming and was great to have conversation with. My bed was so comfortable & the gold room was gorgeous.
The innkeepers , Jordan and Kyle are just wonderful. Theyâre so welcoming, conversant, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and whatâs available.
I liked the place and location. The owners never were around, we would have liked to been able to meet them briefly. The landscape hadnât been card for in a while. The room was wonderful and felt like a step back in time some. The breakfasts were excellent and filling.
Lovely! Enjoyed the history of the beautiful house, antiques throughout quiet county side. Lisa was an excellent hostess and served a wonderful breakfast. Saw the 4 th of July Massanutten fireworks from the site. Hope to be able to return!
We had the best time of our mini trip at this property. I loved every bit of the house, its history and the antique collection. Hospitality is very commendable and the breakfast so English and tasty. Lisa was very sweet and generous to suggest us the local places to visit. We would definitely be back next year.
The farm house is older but clean. Itâs a nice setting, very peaceful. The property manager is very helpful and courteous. The farm location is convenient to the Shenandoah National Park.
lovely little bed and breakfast with the best omelette and french toast, compliments of Jordan, the perfect host. had a wonderful weekend. thank you to the kind hosts.
We loved every minute of our three day stay at Cave Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. Our room had a bathroom and fireplace as well. The mountain views are amazing and the B&B is close to many wineries, breweries, antique shops, caverns, Shenandoah National Park, etc. The best part is the incredible breakfast that Jordan prepared every morning. I can't wait to return! Such a special place!
We found Cave Hill Farm B&B online, and we're so happy we did! It's a charming place out in the farming and brewery country a few miles from Harrisonburg and James Madison University, but quiet and peaceful. The house is loaded with history and all the rooms are beautiful. Jordan and Kyle are the hosts and they are wonderful. We mostly worked with Jordan during our stay as we were there during the middle of the week, and she is lovely, accommodating and met every need -- and she makes a great breakfast! We got to know her gregarious puppy Ari also!. If you want a few days away from it all and just to unplug without a lot of fanfare where you can just admire the beautiful farm country and appreicate skilled and charming inkeepers in a lovely old farmhouse, Cave Hill Farm won't disappoint! I didn't add a photo b/c it looks exactly like th pic in the Hotels.com pic shown here.
The mansion is beautiful and has nice views. I did not the expect the cows to be that close to the property, so the smell of cow manure took a bit of the charm away.
I have traveled the world over and stayed at many, many bed and breakfast locations. This one is top-tier! First rate service and hospitable atmosphere! Historic home in rural Virginia made this a wonderful getaway weekend. Hosts were outstanding and very accommodating!
Loved staying at this unique bed and breakfast. Peace, quiet, and charm was what I was looking for after working days in the area. Lovely hosts as well!
