Dutch Haus is a brand-new, thoughtfully designed mountain home with plenty of space to relax, gather and have fun.

Sleeps up to 9 guests with three bedrooms plus a game room/bedroom.
The screened-in back porch is a favorite gathering spot, with a private hot tub, fireplace, comfortable seating and TV.
The game room features air hockey and a classic arcade game for entertainment for both kids and adults.
The backyard includes a firepit, BBQ grill, outdoor dining for six and space for backyard games.
Guests have access to the community pool, tennis and pickleball courts, located less than 100 yards from the house.
Downtown Helen is within easy walking distance, while the home itself is tucked away in a quiet, wooded setting.

Because Dutch Haus is located in the North Georgia mountains, the roads in the area are winding and hilly. A rental car is recommended, particularly for guests planning to explore beyond Helen.

Quiet, forested residential setting minutes from Helen’s Alpine-style downtown. Walkable downtown attractions (shops, restaurants, river tubing) are clustered along Main Street; Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls and multiple trailheads are a short drive. The area blends tourist amenities with rural mountain scenery and nearby farms/wineries in the Sautee‑Nacoochee valley.

Driving is the primary and most flexible way to get around — narrow, two‑lane mountain roads and occasional tourist traffic around downtown during peak seasons. Downtown Helen is compact and highly walkable once you park; many guests walk between Main Street, river access and nearby restaurants. Public transit options are very limited: no local rail to Helen, limited regional bus service to nearby towns; taxis and rideshares may be sporadic. For most guests a rental car or personal vehicle is recommended; allow extra time for winding mountain roads and festival traffic in October.
