Cabanes à Hertford

« Comfy 2 beds. Quiet day and night. Private (even with houses around, all empty during our stay). Beach access is 5 min walk. Owner allowed us to walk up the main house to access the dock and beach (see pic of view). Very shaded around the house. Gas grill back at patio. Loved having the needed screened in patio (lots of carpenter bees around, they don’t sting). Well equipped kitchen, basic seasonings there. Bring shower soap and shampoo. « Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife. When we return, we will definitely try and book this lodging again. »
