„I was staying in the little camper, things were fine until i found that the lock on the door didnt work, there was no hot water in the shower, and the outhouse door had no inner handle so i couldnt fully shut the door. I would also not recommend this location if you are short, and have knee and back issues because there are some high steps to take to get in/out of the outhouse and the camper.“

„From the second we arrived it felt like stepping into a different universe. It was so peaceful and gorgeous. I was so sad that we had only two days here to experience this stay. It was magical! We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner with an unbelievable view. The food was great and the cookies were amazing! We played some pickleball, took a hike and spent relaxing time at the pool. „Wonderful restored house from around 1900. Clean and beautifully furnished with extensive garden and pool. Hosts Brian and Vanessa are both helpful and charming. We felt very relaxed there. Excellent breakfast this morning. Got a demo and useful tips on making Vanessa's tortillas! Homemade muffins, rolls, salsa....yum. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Gonzales. Would stay again. Worth every penny.“

„The three positives concerning the property are: It's clean, quiet and convenient.However, the property is overpriced for what you get. The outside picture makes it look like a quaint cottage but it is a manufactured home. Once inside, you're informed that you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilets. Soiled tissue is to be placed in the trash. It was communicated that the septic system couldn't handle it. Relative to the toilets themselves, the master toilet flushed well, but the other toilet ...

„The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great! The bathroom was nice and had a great shower. Our only complaint was that the listing and the printed receipt said it included breakfast vouchers. There were not any vouchers when we checked in. My husband called to ask how we got them.
