Family Vacation

Great place to stay. Very clean. Pool is shaded quite a bit but relaxing to jump in after a day at the beach or bike ride. Beds were comfortable. Little room in the back was a great place to sit and read with the fan on. Owner very responsive with any and all communication. We enjoy HH and Sea Pines!

Wonderful Sea Pines Home!

This home was perfect for our family of six. Our children are older and they loved being able to jump in the pool right after biking back from the beach. Having three bathrooms and three bedrooms was very convenient. The bathrooms are all beautiful and the house is decorated nicely. The house sits in a small culdesac so there isn’t a lot of traffic constantly going by. The owners left very thorough directions for the use of the house and this made check-in/out very easy. The bike ride to beach access 44 is five minutes or less. We loaded up everything we needed for the beach in our backpack beach chairs or bike baskets and rode to the beach everyday. The only suggestion I would have is to include written directions with landmarks on how to follow the bike trails to the beach access, Harbour Town, the beach club, and the grocery store or any other main points people may bike to. We used GPS and the trail maps until we figured out where we were going, but the map can get a little confusing. We enjoyed this home very much!

Right in the middle of Sea Pines

Like others have said in their reviews the bedrooms get pretty warm, upstairs and main floor. But there were fans available in all of the bedrooms. So keep that in mind. Location I would say was perfect. A 7 minute bike ride gets you to the beach and a 14 minute ride takes you to Harbour Town. The pool was at a perfect temperature. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House/Location

Our second time staying at 5 Cotton, great house and in a great location at Sea Pines. The house was super clean and the pool is perfect for getting out of the heat! A quick bike ride away from the beach and Harbor Town, but also a quick drive to get out of Sea Pinea, perfect location in a quiet cul de sac! Donny was super commutative and was quick with response's. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Hilton Head.The house was perfect for our family of 4!

Great space in and out

Great overall stay, not a lot of extras compared to other properties where we've stayed as far as supplies like paper towels and garbage bags, but I understand that is not a burden the homeowner must carry, and the overnight price of the place was very fair considering that. Heated pool was great for kids. Space was lovely, updated and clean.

The neighborhood is very safe which we liked with security of anyone coming and going. The house fit all of our needs, plenty of room to spread out. We loved the porch and ate breakfast there in the morning. The bike path surrounding the area was great! And the pool was spectacular; so, refreshing and clean!!! We loved the communication with Don; he's a great host! Thank you for a magnificent vacation Don.

Great Property, responsive hosts

We are a family of four - two teenage boys. Loved the pool, everyone had a spacious rooms and privacy when they wanted it. Very nicely appointed house, great spaces. The screened porch is nice when it cools off. Bedrooms big living rooms big bathrooms are nice. Sea Pines is cool lots to do inside the resort and very easy to get out to say Coligny Plaza or several great places to eat right outside the resort. Just a nice property, very responsive host. We had a great trip.

Best rental yet!

We have tried many rentals on HHI and this has been the best one yet. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious. The pool was perfect for our young kids to play in while we grilled or took a break from the beach. We brought our own bikes and biked all over Sea Pines! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking and the beds were amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and seemingly safe. We have every intention of coming back and have already shared the listing with friends!

Peaceful Paradise

Great house and location!

We had a such a great time staying here recently! Donny was great and very communicative as well. The house was super clean and as advertised, lots of updates have been done and the heated pool was used daily by the kids. The location of the house was perfect to get around Sea Pines with quick bike rides to Harbour Town and the beach. We had such a great time and loved the house, we will stay here again for sure. No complaints about anything!

Wonderful house

This house is incredible. The furnishings and decor are really beautiful. The house is incredibly clean. The beds are very comfortable. I cant say enough. We have rented houses for our vacations for 10 years now and this house has the rest beat. The location is great. Its so beautiful in sea pines. I will definately rent this place again!

Great home in Lawton Woods

We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable. We had 6 and a baby and plenty of room. The house was very clean when we got there. The middle of the week pool cleaning was nice since there's a lot of pine trees. Definitely pay to have the pool warmed. We went it July and even with it warmed it had a chill when the sun wasn't out. (it also rained twice so that didn't help the temp). We really enjoyed dinner at Truffles - do not miss out on the Blondie for dessert! The new Quarterdeck has an amazing view from the top bar. Sea Pines is a wonderful place to stay and we've stayed many places there over the years. This was a top 2 for us. The ONLY complaint we had was the lighting. The edison bulbs are pretty but give almost no light. Since it's a shaded lot it would really brighten things up with LED bulbs. And the bathroom lighting is atrocious for doing make up. We had to stand in the master hallway and use the full length mirror for proper lighting. MINOR inconvenience...but felt like it was worth mentioning. Really only thing I could complain about. I would definitely go back and just bring my own bulbs. Easy bike ride to beach and Harbor Town. A few less shops at Salty Dog area this year. Sorry to see that, but there was plenty of shopping at Coligny Plaza. Overall a winner!

Great house for family

House was very clean. It was my husband and I and our 3 adult sons and their wives/ girlfriend. The pool was hands down the best feature for us! Fairly convenient to most everything. We only had 1 vehicle, so traveling around was tricky, but we did rent some bicycles and that helped. Donny was very helpful with suggestions on places to rent from on bikes and umbrellas and even dinner. Family had really only one complaint(?) It had to do with the overhead lighting in the dining room. While the light fixtures in the dining, kitchen and hall are newer and beautiful the bulbs are just way too dim. We tried to play games and or cards every evening but the edison lights made it a little to difficult. We did improvise by bringing in a bedroom floor lamp that helped alot. MY only issue is that nothing is asked to be left. We had some waters/soft drinks/beer left that we were suppose to throw away....I just couldn't. There is no coffee, no spices, except salt and pepper, no laundry detergent. Pool rafts could also be left for others to enjoy as well. All those things add up and really wouldn't be overwhelming to store for the next in line. If there isn't anything left thats ok, but to throw away perfectly good things that maybe brand new or unopened was a very hard thing for me to understand. (I grew up with stretching every dollar and still live by the waste not want not) Overall this house is very well taken care of. The price for being in SeaPines is wonderful.

We absolutely loved this house, it offered us everything we needed. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and all the necessities were present. The back patio is a perfect reading room for me, the pool was heated as we requested, the kitchen was well equipped and having the washer and dryer handy was great. Located on a quiet cul de sac, beautiful trees and singing birds. Very close to bike trails, the beach and local shops. Thank you Don for being so attentive.

Hilton Head Getaway

This was our first time staying at this location during our annual Hilton Head vacation. We chose this property because it offered 3 bedrooms plus 3 bathrooms and a pool, which was ideal for 3 couples and a baby. The upstairs 3rd bedroom was hot and is in need of an update, but it had the only bathroom with a tub, which was perfect for our year old grandson. The pool area was great-nice charcoal grill and 2 tables with umbrellas. The only downside was that there were no lounge chairs. We had bikes delivered by Pedals and used them daily to go to the Beach Club, Harbor Town or South Beach. The location was central to everything we wanted to explore. Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!
