My kids loved the pool being right in our backyard and having it all to ourselves. The walk to the beach was super easy and nice and close. The jome itself is in a great location, very central to all of the island activities as well as easy on and of acces from the island to the main land. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Family vacation in AMI

We had a fantastic time at the Banana Cabana. It was a couple minute walk to the beach, and a quick golf cart ride to several other beaches/restaurants/etc. on the island. The pool was a perfect retreat from the heat in the mid day, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook. Would stay again!

Great house, perfect location

Banana Cabana is in a great area and is perfect for a family of 6. They had a wagon, towels & beach chairs & the backyard pool & hot tub were great. The only negative was they provided only a bare minimum of TP & dish soap supplies & NO coffee filters. We loved coffee on the deck every morning.

Nice home, Great location

Everything was just as listing, location is great, walking distance to beach. Only suggestion is the house needs a few updates such as a smart tv in the living room. We had 2 rainy days and having that would of been nice , the tv only had regular cable. Otherwise, everything was good. We have used Ami locals several times, they are always responsive and good to work with.

Fantastic Rental - great for families, would rent again!

First of all, this location was perfect for our family which included two teenagers. It is a short walk to the beach access 2 blocks away. The house is located in Holmes Beach which is in the middle of AMI giving you access to fun stuff on Pine in the north and Bridge St to the South. There are a number of good restaurants nearby in the middle very close to the house. The house was perfectly cleaned when we arrived. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. The master is separate on the upper floor and has an amazing bathroom with a jet tub and large shower. The two bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for the kids and a bathroom for them to share was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. The back yard is amazing, pool was great and the shaded couch area was perfect for reading while the kids played in the pool. The house has a really nice gas grill which we made use of one night. There are lots of chairs and a wagon to bring gear to the beach. There are two beach umbrellas which are a little dated and could be upgraded to bigger/newer ones. Would have been nice to have some floats to take to the ocean or chill in the pool. There was not a cooler to take drinks to the beach which was a little disappointing because we flew and obviously didn't bring a cooler on the plane. I did however buy a small cooler and left it with the beach gear for future guests to use. The only other thing it could use is maybe a portable speaker to listen to music out by the pool.

Wonderful getaway

We loved the house and location and the wonderful amenities that came along with it. The hot tub and warmed pool were great with some cooler temperatures. We also appreciated the wagon for walks to the beach with our family.

Great Location

The property is in a great location. Within walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants. The property could use a little tlc as far as paint on the interior. The most disappointing aspect of the vacation was that the supposedly heated pool and hot tub never got to a useable temperature. After contacting the company twice, the issue never got resolved. Very disappointing to see the neighbors using their amenities and not being able to use ours and what we paid for.

This property is Beautiful and immaculate! The pool and hot tub was gorgeous! This home was located on Holmes beach within walking distance from the beach!! Food, golf cart rentals, etc was all within walking distance! I took my family and can't wait to come back next year! Tina Simmons

AMI - Banana Cabana

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. We were a family of 5 visiting with older teenagers. The home is located closer to the bay side of the island, but because the island isn't very wide, it's only two blocks to the ocean. Certainly a manageable walk. The house itself is comfortable and well appointed. The pool area is very nice and is in full sun between 11am and 3:00pm. We had a car and a golf cart, so we used those to get around the island (mostly the golf cart). If you wanted to, you could walk to the downtown area adjacent to Holmes Beach, but it would be a very long walk to downtown Anna Maria. All in all, I would recommend staying here.

Nice property but...

Beautiful house and pool. Easy walk to the beach. I only have two complaints. First, the home has a basic cable package with about 10 channels. It works randomly. There is no smart television or streaming devices. Five of the channels are local news stations. Either pay for the next level of cable or have some way to stream. My husband and I watched my laptop. Very sad for the price of this property. Next the beds are very very hard and the furniture in the living area is low backed and low to sit in. We enjoyed our vacation but for the price of this property, it should be better.

Beautiful, clean home with great location!

We had an AMAZING week at Banana Cabana! This house is absolutely beautiful and comes equipped with everything you need for a family beach vacation- beach gear, including chairs, towels, a wagon, even had umbrellas and sand toys. There were even baby gates if you need those! We loved the convienece of the elevator with all of the floors. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds and other furniture were comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and perfect Temps for swimming, even on a few chilly days we had. The house is in a great location on the island- only 2 blocks from beach access and a great mid-island location close to everything. The only issue we had was the elevator was broken when we first arrived, but we let them know and they had someone out very quickly and had it fixed, so not much of an issue at all. Overall, we had an amazing week here and are already thinking about when we can come back!!

Awesome house and vacation!

We had one of the best vacations at this home. The house has everything you need. We loved the views and being able to sit outside on the balcony and by the dock. The hot tub and pool were great. We rented a golf cart and took to the beach everyday. I really can't say enough about this home and we look forward to returning.

Great vacation

This is a great home. One thing is there is a lot of stairs. This was not a problem for us but just a heads up for someone that does not like a lot of steps. With that being said there was an elevator to use. This home had everything we needed for the perfect island vacation. The beach was only about 4 blocks away and it was an easy walk. The pool at the house was a great place for coffee in the morning and an afternoon swim. The front porch was also a great place to sit and relax. I definitely would recommend this home.

Lovely Home on a Quiet Street

A beautiful house - lovely furnishings, fenced in backyard with a pool, hot tub, grill, outdoor dining and seating, outdoor shower, and a kitchen with all the utensils and dishes you could possibly need! The open concept really makes the house seem very spacious. The beach is a short walk and the house has beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella and cart. We walked some days and others we drove and had no trouble parking. The elevator came in handy when bringing in groceries. When we first checked in, the pool and hot tub temperature needed to be adjusted - after making a call, the serviceman was there in literally 5 minutes! It was our first time vacationing on Anna Maria Island and we just loved it. Would definitely recommend Banana Cabana.

Gorgeous Home Convenient to Beach, Trolley Stops & Restaurants!

We had an amazing time this week! The house was clean and perfect for our needs. The main level’s flow was perfect for meal times and family gatherings in between adventures. The master bedroom level had a fantastic bathroom and gorgeous views of the sunrises from the back deck. Quick 3-5 minute walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Kids loved the pool in the afternoons/evenings after some time at the beach. Would highly recommend to others!!
