« The location of the hotel, the standard room we were given were just right for us. We particularly liked the ceiling fan which provided much needed cooling. So much better eco friendly than air-conditioning. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the food was excellently cooked with plenty to choose from. Go hungry to do the food justice. Drinks and food prices offer good value. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we'd heartily recommend a stay there to anyone. »

« The property was close to Bamburgh Castle and Farne Islands that is great in summer for Puffins. We were given the smallest double bed room even though we booked a proper queen room that were available. »

« On bus route to Holy Island. Bus times subject to tides. Close to A1. Rooms are in separate annex next to Inn so quiet. Good car park. Food well prepared and presented with interesting seasonal menu. Good variety of choices for breakfast including excellent veggie breakfast. Recommend. »

« The room was immaculate with beautiful white bed lines and towels Everything you could need was supplied The things we didn’t like were lack of ventilation. It was very warm and airless even though small fans were supplied. Also very small room so not really anywhere to put suitcases etc »

« Nous avons demandé un thé vers 11:00 pour y accueillir un ami, réponse: “there is no service now”. Puis nous avons demandé pour un entretien avec notre visiteur, au calme car il y avait un match de foot dans le grand salon et beaucoup de bruit, sollicitant de nous mettre dans un salon annexe, réponse: “no that’s not possible”. « I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...
