« Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended. »

« Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Bailiffgate Hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. The new refurbishment was excellent and the room had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet corner of Alnwick overlooking the castle and yet only 5 minutes away from the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We shall definitely stay there again. »

« I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again. »

« All worked perfectly with the handover. The instructions are very good for finding the house as GPS can be unreliable up there. It is way off the beaten track and very isolated. The road is bumpy but you do not need an SUV. The accommodation is very nice and we wanted for nothing as we brought up everything. The owner left some treats for us. The neighbour was very helpful as well. The outside was well used with 4 children playing rounders ( a set left for us). We din't take advantage of the...

« We had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolyn’s home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Carolyn 🙏 »

« Lovely stay , very comfortable hotel. Excellent Customer service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very obliging. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and couldn’t fault our meals at all. Very good quality food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. »
