I find it difficult to believe the number of 10/10 reviews for this property.
When I first arrived, the initial impression was several mattresses sitting outside near the dumpster. If they’re being replaced, that’s understandable but it’s still not a great first look.
Upon entering the lobby, there was a noticeable odor that extended all the way to the elevator area. That set the tone immediately.
The room itself felt far below what I expected based on the reviews: more comparable to a budget roadside motel than a highly rated hotel. The ice machine on my floor was not working. I located one on the first floor that did dispense ice, but the pipes were exposed and water was continuously draining from them.
Taking the stairs back up, I saw additional mattresses and bed frames stored near the stairwell area, which raised further concerns about the overall condition and upkeep of the property.
I booked this stay specifically because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. My experience did not align with that rating at all. After checking in, I attempted to leave but was told the stay was non-refundable.
This review is simply an honest account of what I experienced. If you’re booking based on 10/10 expectations, just be aware that your experience may differ significantly.
