We reserved through expedia and booked a suite with 2 queens. Got there and we were given a king suite because our room had been given away. We called or we tried to get through and no one ever picked up. We wanted to let them Know we would be late check in. Possibly midnight and didn’t want it to be a no show. I hatted with someone via the website and then while inwas chatting I got a number and called and spoke to someone and they even tried to reach the hotel and they’re unsuccessful too. Breakfast was a complete disaster. No forks, no meat. The line was so long. We’ll never book with this hotel again.

It has a beautiful walk way with a water way running and fish in the water. They offer appetizers and drinks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning (the omlets are delicious) the hotel is pretty new and because of that they are still working on rooms and amenities. The pool was closed and my kids were super bummed as was I since there was no mention of it on the site.

The property itself and the room was absolutely perfect, it was the check in process that was unpleasant. My wife and I needed to check into the hotel early because we had an event at 4 and that’s when the check in time was, so I called twice in the morning to which I got no answer, and even tried to contact customer service on the website which was no help whatsoever. Got to the hotel at 2:30 and was told by the manager that no rooms were available and they would get with house cleaning. My wife goes back in about 15 minutes to check on the status and see if there’s anything else we can do, to which the front desk associate was rude the entire interaction. She asked to speak to the manager which ended up getting us a room and gave us free drink passes. I’m very thankful for the manager letting us check in early and being accommodating but the rudeness of the front desk associate from check in and check out just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Embassy Suites never lets me down. Excellent bed linens, spotless room. Current Huntsville location is undergoing construction and getting FROM hotel on space walk to the Concert Hall at Von Braun had NO signage and we had no idea how to get there. Breakfast was yummy as always.

Very disappointing stay
This is my preferred hotel if choice anytime I stay in Huntsville due to the sky bridge to Von Braun Center. I've stayed here multiole times, and never had a problem. However, this trip was anything but enjoyable. To start there was renovations going on directly above my room, and there was no warning this would be the case. Therefore from the time I checked in until I left that night, all I heard directly above my room was the absolute loudest construction I havr ever heard. Fast forward to my check out (luckily it was a one day stay) Check out time is 11 AM, I headed down to the lobby at 9 AM. I waited for 10 minutes and found no one at the desk. I decided to grab a bite from the brewkfast while I waited. In that 30 minute window, no one ever came. I bypassed checking out and left. I've done this before and never had an issue. The next night I get a text message asking what form of check out I'd prefer, to which I reply that I do not have a room there for this night, and it was for the night before. I got no reply, so I assumed it was just a mistake and forgot about it...until I woke up the next day with a charge for a secondary night that I wasn't even there. So now not only was it the most unenjoyable stay I've ever had in any of my stays.....I now get to spend days disputing the secondary charge with my credit card company as well.

The guest services were a joke due too lying to me about parking. They said that they charge people that go to the concerts about two blocks away for parking. I know thats not true because I asked someone and they didn't have to pay for parking. You can't charge someone if they don't give you a card to pay for parking and there gates were not working either. Also I slept on towels because my sheets had stains on them. I will not stay at this hotel again. If I could I would give it zero stars.

Toilet seat was loose, Water was turned off during the day when we needed. Staff had no information for navigating nearby walkable downtown for sightseeing and dining. The staff could have told us "Big Spring" was out the back door. The Back door, normally could be used but was not accessible during our stay. There was no need to charge us for parking because the gates did not work during the entire 3 day stay. That alone really aggravated us.

The sweet lady at check in was awesome to suggest a premium upgrade and received lots of goodies. As usual the mangers reception was on point. We will always be back!
