I have never cried upon entering a hotel room until this stay. The room was so incredibly dirty and smelly, and the door wouldn’t latch shut (no key was required to open or close it. I asked for a replacement room and was told there was no room. The manager on duty met me in the room and said it didn’t smell and that i could leave but would still have to pay for the night. We were staying with a team so was torn between suffering and removing my daughter from the group. As i was spending time searching for an alternative not too far away, 2 parents on our team must have been more threatening than me as 2 hours after i tried to switch rooms and was told nothing was available a mysterious room was found. Night and Day difference. The door to the room worked. It didn’t smell like mold and smoke. The walls were painted and not torn up. I think they must keep this room for people who book on Expedia?!? In any case NEVER stay there. Ever. While the manager did ultimately help, she didn’t help me at first and it was only after what i can only assume were some very strong words. If i could give this place negative stars i would (except for the gentleman who helps clean up the breakfast room - he was very kind).

Greetings Ms.Franer,I am disturbed by this review, as we were a full house on 05.17 to 05.18. I immediately came to the room and there was no smell of smoke as you stated to the FDA. There was a last minute cancellation and I was able to change your room. There was 1 guest that came down and asked if there was anything we could do and of course at the time I was unable accommodate. When we spoke I explained that your reservation was a pre-paid 3rd party so this make it difficult to credit. You stated you were going to call the other hotel the rest of the team was booked, I stated if you are able to book there. I would do everything I could to make it right. Once I received notice to cancel a duplicate reservation I immediately called you to say that I was able to move you to a new room. I met you on the 3rd floor and helped with your bags, you stated that you were very happy and thanked me. I went as far as getting your PC number and crediting 50,000 points. I apologize that my effort to go above and beyond for you were not to your satisfaction. Please see the copy and paste from loyalty connect of points given for guest service. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were dirty. Visible food, dirt, rocks and sticky stains on the carpert. Sticky cup rings on the table tops. Most of a used stick of butter in the refrigerator. Pink mold along the tub. Hair on the bathroom floor and weaved into the towels from past guests. A heavy scum film in the tub. The pumps in the bathroom was crusty and unclean. And the hard floors were sticky.

Our room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The floor had not be vaccumed and the was an ozone machine plugged up in our room. Had to ask for clean towels and they didn't even have more toliet tissue.

Due to the solar eclipse we are still unable to check in. Its 8:20pm now. They were not ready for all the people. And most of the people that were supposed to check in today are still waiting in the lobby.

Front desk staff was never around. Couldn't supply enough towels for room or for pool use. Stains on bed comforter. Sticky spots in carpet. Shower head was worthless. Limited breakfast options.

Rooms were clean. Our phone jack was broken, we were unable to call down when we needed extra sheets for the pull out bed. Our bathroom door did not lock. The door to our room didn’t lock at all. All you needed to do wash push it open to get in.

They only keep one person on staff to handle the whole hotel. We stayed on a very busy weekend and they were fully booked the line to check in was very long and Poor Ace Johnson who was very pleasant at the front desk was so busy. I checked in at 5:30 for two rooms our one room 223 would not lock so from 5:30-9PM 8 people stayed in one room until we were given our second room which was of no fault of Ace as the line on check ins was crazy. There were no towels available and so many other issues that just took forever to address due to staff. Would never stay there again as full fault of management not only not having customers taken care of in timely matter but also putting their employees in that position.

I want a refund. This was the most UNPROFESSIONAL group of front desk employees I have ever had the displeasure to witness in ANY hotel, and particularly unbelievably UNPROFESSIONAL for a Holiday Inn.

Overall pretty satisfied
Got there at check in and they didn’t know which rooms were ready. Had to wait 20 minutes but then we got our room. The indoor pool was closed which we weren’t to happy about. That was on the the amenities we were looking for. Breakfast was good!

I got there at 2:55, got my luggage and toddler and went to check in. There was another guest waiting to check in. He went in about 5 minutes before me. He said they went to go find out if he could be checked in early. By the time he got back it was after 3pm. With a line of about 5 people. Once it was my turn, he got my info and got me checked in. Gave me a room key, but didnt tell me the room #. I had to ask. Got to our room, the door was so hard to get open! And once we were in the room, the door slammed shut, and it was so loud. The room was fine. But you just heard doors slamming all day and night. The man that was in charge of the breakfast was phenomenal! He was so kind and interacted well woth my shy toddler.

Well check in was at 3pm got there at 4pm room wasn't ready had to wait an hour and a half..got to my room no towels no toilet paper and the toilet seat was broke room phome didn't work ..went down to let general manager know and she said she would have maintenance change out the toilet seat and never did ask for some kind of discount for everything and said she would give me a 20 dollar discount..staff was unfriendly and never around when went to the counter ..always saw the general manager on her phone facetiming someone..never had clean towels said short staff but yet she was always on her phone and it wasnt work related ..she was very rude and then i had two other family members stay each of us had the same type of room and was all charged a different price when checked out

Not impressed. The entire hotel smelled of smoke, pool was closed, breakfast was less than desirable. The room was decent and clean, but again, reeked heavily of smoke.

Picked this hotel for the pool and it was closed. I registered for 6 people and they didn’t have the bedding for the pull out couch, didn’t give enough towels. Even when we went to ask for more towels, I couldn’t get more until I returned the used ones. It’s tired and dirty.

Fridge didn’t work in room (didn’t realize until the morning when our juice was warm) pool closed day of check in and was told it changes daily but when I called the week prior to ask if their pool was operational they never stated “yes but that can change daily” or I would have never booked ahead of time.

Checked in at 9 p.m. due to cheer competition. I asked for a late check out in te morning due to it being icy conditions and disnt have to be at competition til later in the day and wanted to let my daughter rest. No late check out at spending almoat $250. There were "hairs" in the bath tub. We went down at 10 p.m. to get a water from there little store and rang the bell 3 times. Someone was also waiti g to check in. Waited over 10 minutes and finally the lady walkes in from smoking outside.

👎 We were given 2 bath towels for 4 adults, for a double king bed room. We had no body wash in shower but instead a lotion - told there was none. The staff was on speaker phone with a friend during the entire check in process. Very unprofessional. The gentleman assisting breakfast was very kind - 5 stars for him.

The people at the front desk were awesome. The room was clean and nice. My only complaint is the pool was closed which I feel like should be part of the booking process knowing it’s closed. It’s a major reason many of people will pick a specific hotel.

The check in was lovely with an upgrade to the top floor upon request. The beds were wonderfully big and comfortable. Overall, the room was clean but there were spots in corners that appeared unfinished when the hotel was updated last. There were missing light bulbs in our room. The breakfast was good but very minimal Perhaps they didn't have a recent delivery. Hardly anything out.
