We had a great stay at the location. It was within a short distance to Brown County State Park and Nashville. Plenty of kitchen space for making dinner and the fire pit was great.
The log cabin is super cute, well decorated, and very clean! The Brown County log cabin area is beautiful to drive through. Some things to be aware of, (nothing big enough to bring up with the host during our stay): the loose gravel driveway is quite steep in one part. We were in a 4wheel drive suv and made it up, might be challenging if you are pulling a fishing boat; the beds have very creeky(noisy) springs and bare bones mattresses; two of the bathrooms have sliding barn doors that do not provide privacy, a bit akward; the house in general is not well isulated to the effect that if you sneeze upstairs, someone downstairs could say God bless you!; there is a bit of a dog smell in the house. Our stay was less vacation and mostly a place to sleep while attending graduation events at IU in Bloomington. It suited our trip well enough.
Wonderful time. Cabin was very clean and well equipped. Minor equipment issue was resolved by host quickly. Hot tub was a bit older but we loved it. Very private location. Hope to return.
We took our first trip out to Brown County and loved it! The cabin was a perfect location outside of Nashville and it was so serene. We would love to stay at this cabin again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We loved the cabin. Power was out for a long time and had issues. Had flash lights but even with those we could do nothing but sit. Wasnât your fault but could have had candles or something. Recliner didnât work. Too steep to get in hot tub. Beautiful area.
The cabin looked exactly like the photos in the listing. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was secluded and convenient for where I needed to go. Eric was great at communicating. Would stay here again!
Todo estuvo bien, estĂĄ bonito y espacioso, limpio,lo Ășnico y no estuvo bien, son las puertas del baño, deberĂa tener una puerta normal, esas dos puertas no se sierra bien
We stayed for a long weekend and loved it! It's about 20 minutes from Nashville, Brown County State Park and Yellowwood Forest. The house is very clean and spacious and the hot tub was amazing!
We were visiting the area from St. Louis to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We arrived late at night, so finding the cabin the first time was a little challenging. But we did love the peacefulness, cleanliness & ample room provided by this cabin. Only about 20 min from Martinsville. If our weekend wasn't already jam packed, we'd have spent most our time in Brown County. Anyways, would definitely stay again!
Loved the quiet serenity of the cabin. Back in the woods surrounded by nature with easy access to Morgantown just 15 minutes to the north and Nashville just 20 minutes to the south. Nashville is full of shops and restaurants to suite the taste of most anyone. The cabin itself was very clean with all of the essentials. A nice fireplace that cranks out the heat and only needs to be switched on to enjoy (on top of the mantle).
Brought mom (86 years old) to visit here sister for the weekend. The cabin in the woods was a great place for everyone to sit around and chat. The kitchen was equipped with quality pots and pans which made cooking easier. Cabin has nice open area which was good. Overall i would stay again.
What a beautiful cabin surrounded by beautiful nature. The inside of the cabin was inviting and provided all the amenities that you need. The host is very prompt in answering questions. Thank you for making our stay relaxing.
We really enjoyed our getaway in this beautiful cabin. It was exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable. Perfect for a family getaway. Wish there was a laundry and a 2nd full bath on the first floor. Loft was great for the kids. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub.
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for a quiet get away with our two dogs. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with queen beds. There is a nice room upstairs with bunkbeds but we didn't use it. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, skillets, etc. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with towels, paper towels, blankets, and extra pillows. The covered porch with rocking chairs was perfect for a rainy afternoon. It was a short drive to Nashville and Brown County State Park. We drove in everyday for hiking.
