Hotel Iowa Great Lakes

« The Vintage Block is awesome. It's clearly an older 60s/70s style motel, but the owners have stuck a ton of money and love into it. It's immaculately clean, and the decor is fresh and inviting. It's location is top notch to all the fun stuff around okoboji, and the management clearly cares about its customers. »

« There was poop behind the toilet and what it seemed to look like vomit behind the tv dresser. Not sure what it was exactly but assuming its pet friendly I would like to think it was cat or dog poop »

« This property is very run down and dirty. Many things are outdated or broken. Needs lots of maintenance. Pools were dirty. The beach was full of weeds. Only saw 2 staff the whole time. Never saw anything being cleaned or maintained. I could go on and on. Will never stay here again! »

« The room was so dirty, mainly the bathroom and the bathtub was clogged. Breakfast was poor too. I do not recommend. However the staff was very nice. »

« I liked the cont. breakfast. The bed was a little bit too firm, the tv remote was a little bit hard to operate. I tried to request a main floor room when I booked on line but was unable to do so, had to pay an extra $26 per night to get a lower le3vel room. the first night it sounded like an elephant was stomping around in the room above me, it went on from 7:30 until 10:10. »

« The staff were all friendly and helpful. Housekeeping didn’t visit my room during my stay which is the only real downside. »
