« I wish I could give this stay more than five stars! The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure my every need was taken care of. Be aware there are two ferries from Ishigaki, and only one has a shuttle to the hotel. If youâre going to rent a car book it early, but the island is very doable without a car as long as you go with the flow. The hotel is close to the river ferry which takes you to waterfall hike. « Stunning. Really special place where we felt very well looked after. The staff were very attentive, and very helpful organising excursions. The particular highlight was canoeing along the mangrove forests. The houses themselves are incredibly special, and a wonderful place to relax »
