2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. The dual primary bedrooms each have their own full en suite bathrooms, and the private balcony looks directly out over the Summer House oceanfront pool with the Atlantic just beyond it. It’s the kind of setup where you wake up, open the blinds, and immediately feel like your vacation has already succeeded.

The layout is spacious and thoughtfully designed for larger groups — three full bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bright open living area. Summer House sits within Wild Dunes, giving guests access to golf, spa, dining, and bike trails, all while being steps from the beach. The property is also wheelchair accessible with an elevator in building.

Summer House 202 guests have exclusive access to the Summer House oceanfront pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball

Pay-to-play court time is available at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. We also recommend the free tennis and pickleball courts at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center — just a quick drive down Palm Blvd!
