For the amount of money I paid, I certainly was not expecting a room with a cracked and patched ceiling that hadn't been repainted to match the room. I also expected the frig to have a freezer section like every other place I've stayed. I couldn't refreeze my freezer packs for the next part of my trip, having to stop to buy ice and drink hot water.

My initial check in with Chris on May 1 was great , he gave us directions to local landmarks and recommendations for restaurants which we followed and they were exceptional. I decided to extend my stay another day the check in for May 2 was the opposite. I believe his name was Greg he was very rude and if he had been at check in on my initial check in I probably wouldn’t have stayed another day.

I liked the location. It was clean and nice except that I had a second floor room and it smelled like a skunk had been in the hallway when I arrived late afternoon. Smell was gone the next morning,so they took care of it overnight.

I liked that the hotel was just across from the beach. I didn't like that there were toothpaste spatters on the bathroom mirror and dirty sheets on one bed. The housekeeping crew had already left for the day but the lady at the front desk gave us some Windex, paper towels and clean sheets and we handled it because, if they moved us we would have had to play " musical rooms" all weekend and that's not what we came to the beach to do.

I loved the location because all we had to do was walk across the street to the beach. The beach location has a restroom, boardwalk and a parking lot. There are several restaurants across the street buuut Sliders across the street can be noisy at night if you’re in a street side/beach side room. This is a great stay!!

The location is ideal for all that is in Fernandina (walkable). We did have issues with the TV, and although the hotel can't control this, we witnessed a lot of people not staying at the hotel parking in their lot and more importantly, participating in their free breakfast. They also seemed a little short staffed (like everyone else) which resulted in slow response time from the front desk. But, we would definitely stay there again.

Great location across from the beach. You only have to cross the street and you are there. The rooms were clean, the staff was cordial. Housekeeping is only after the 3rd night unless requested. Breakfast was delicious the first morning (Sunday) and was a standard breakfast the rest of the week we were there. They have a small gift shop in case you forget anything and are a quick drive from the shopping district.

The property is neglected - the faucet in our room was loose, the toilet was rocking, baseboards haven't seen cleaning and painting in a while. Internet was in and out all the time - impossible to work. It's not a huge investment to solve the problem. The guy at the front desk knew about the problem but kinda just shrugged his shoulders when asked... The staff is welcoming but not sure if they really care.

Da wir leider mindestens einen Stern vergeben müssen, geben wir diesen. Am liebsten würden wir das Hotel jedoch mit 0 Sternen bewerten. Wie soll man da anfangen? Weshalb Expedia das Hotel auf der Seite noch hat, ist uns ein Rätsel. Sauberkeit sollte einmal im Lexikon nachgeschlagen werden. Auf den Nachttischlampen lag eine dicke Schicht Staub, der Schreibtischstuhl hatte auch schon einmal bessere Tage erlebt, und es roch nach Chlor, sodass wir alle irgendwann Kopfschmerzen bekamen. Und habe ich erwähnt, dass die GANZE NACHT das Wasser in der Dusche lief? Weggeschickt wurden wir mit der Ausrede, dass man auf dem Klempner wartet. Ein anderes Zimmer hat man uns nicht gegeben, da anscheinend mehrere Zimmer von dem Problem betroffen waren. Und da fragt man sich; wieso werden überhaupt diese Zimmer vergeben? Das Essen war nicht ganz so schlecht - eine Lebensmittelvergiftung haben wir nicht bekommen, obwohl wir es erwartet haben. Auch das Meer war sehr nah. Aber einen größeren Komfort hätten wir dann doch erfahren, hätten wir am Strand geschlafen. Tja, liebes Expedia. Ob wir unser Geld zurück bekommen werden für so eine Erfahrung, ist eine Sache. Eine Flasche Wein und Pizza würden uns bestimmt helfen über dieses traumatische Erlebnis hinwegzusehen.
