« We had a wonderful time. The house is colorful and filled with whimsical art, which we enjoyed. Very convenient to the town of Murphys, only about 2 miles away. We would definitely stay there again. We would have loved to spend time on the back patio. Unfortunately for us, the week we chose was rainy off and on. Access was easy compared to other experiences we have had. Owner very amicable. »

« The main house is large and great for our group. The bedrooms in the main house do not get as cool as the rest of the home, but the AC kept us cool in general. The bonus 4 rooms were close to the home and very comfortable. We loved the pool and hot tub. What a great addition to a summer stay for a group looking to connect. « This cozy cabin is our favorite Twain Harte getaway. It has everything - great outdoor patio, fully equipped amenities, comfortable beds, all in a great location. One of the many things we enjoy are the reading lamps at the bedside. It may be old school, but it is a huge plus for us. We are already planning our reservations at the cozy cabin for next year. »

« we have stayed 4 nights and could stay longer if we had a time. The challet is in a great location, less than an hour from Yosemite valley, Hetch Hetchy dam or Sonora, but in a very quite location at the end of a road. You can get there easily, just go to the end of paved Hells Hollow road and then keep straight on the dirt road until you reach 2111 and the gate. Just drive very slowly on the dirt road especially at the times when is so dry and hot like now as driving fast gets a lot of dust in...

« My family stayed here for a short weekend. Upon arrival it looked like it had been cleaned however there was hair in both showers, an odd smell in the living room and the rug in the living room looked like it had never been vacuumed. While the cleanliness was off putting, the comfort was worse. The couch was also not clean and the beds were broken, lopsided and extremely uncomfortable. This place needs a one time deep clean, new caulk where there is mold, and new beds/couch and it would be fine....

« Ease of entry, layout, comfort and cleanliness all great. It’s a bit run down with blinds that don’t work, a big hole in the back screen door and bbq appears to no be cleaned on the regular ( the grease catch was full). »
