„BEWARE: A/C did not work upon check-in. We arrived at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, turned the AC on as the cabin interior was in the high 70’s & departed for a scheduled dinner party. We returned to cabin at 11:00, cabin at upper seventies, high humidity, & no wind. I called the after-hours number at 11:45 and clerk had me run thru then thermostat readings in detail for 30 minutes, trying to document that the system was on property, but not operating. „We enjoyed the quaint cabin surrounded by trees for privacy. It was very clean and well maintained. Our only issue was the water smelled bad, I believe it is because of the iron from the well water. We used bottle water to brush our teeth. That may be common for the area, we were just not expecting that. Also, it says 6 miles to town but it is curvy roads and took us about 15 minutes; not a big deal but wanted to make that clear. I would stay again, just be prepared for the water issue.“
