« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did...

« We enjoyed the outside kitchen and screened living room. It was quiet, peaceful, and the hummingbirds were a bonus. The inside area was comfortable, and the handmade furniture was charming. The hosts were respectful and generous. It was a very comfortable place to stay, and we would love to come back. »

« Good, Kirk was great. The entry door lock did not work and I think the rugs could use a cleaning especially the back bedroom. Keep in mind that this property is 25 minutes from Rangeley Village. All in all a great stay and I do recommend it. »

« We had an amazing time at the cottage. It is very user friendly and right off the west mountain. Unfortunately the chair was closed but we could skin to the top from the cottage. Very confortable for a party of 11 friends, would highly recommend. »

« This older home and its cultural interior connected with my roots in Kingfield when I worked as a forester for Dead River Timberlands in the mid-late 1960's. The wall art plus books on the Grateful Dead, you rock! I stayed here as my overnight for doing some off-trail photographic exploration in the Boundary Mountains the next day. i'll stay here again. Thanks »
