The facilities were OK and relatively liveable EXCEPT:1. There were flies everywhere in the house. This inconvience was known by the owner because there was a fly stick the size of an empty toilet paper roll about 1 ft. high on the kitchen window counter where ants were continually trailing for food. The set of bifold door windows had a sign that said broken, do not use that had a 1/2 " gap in it in the closed position which allowed flies to enter. I must have killed 250-300 flies--"great way to spend part of our vacation."2. The refrigerator did not have ice cubes OR a freezer which worked. We had to buy bags of ice and not have any frozen foods ready to cook. We brought this to the caretaker's attention next door and he said last time this happened 2 years ago it took 3 months to replace the refrigerator.3. The access to the beach/water was limited and the "path" (if you could call it that)was steep and had trip roots in sections that made it extremely difficult for my wife.4. The neighbor's roosters and chickens woke us up at 5:30 -6:00 every day crowing loudly. I understand Oahu has many chickens, but one morning I observed the neighbor feeding the loud roosters. Evidently they are conditioned to be there loud and early.
