« An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money. »

« Gail surprised us with a tasty cheese board on arrival, very welcome after the drive from Christchurch. Lovely place to stay, very comfortable. My husband appreciated the recliner, he usually has to sleep part of the night in one at home. We only made breakfast and snacks, no problems, and had a sunny day to take care of a load of laundry. Great place to be laid back and enjoy the gorgeous views. »

« Lovely place with easy access to the beach. Extremely quiet and dark, allowing for great stargazing. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Friendly host who quickly explained everything and was available for questions via text. Would definitely return the next time we’re near Kaikoura. »
