„Good parts. Location for beach, size of axcomodation, privacy, quite modern. Bad parts.. paid for breakfast NO BREAKFAST!!! NO WIFI AT ALL!!! NO HOT WATER AT ALL!! Then there was other things that it said the accomodation had but wasnt there...ie desk, slippers, bottled water. Worst of all the accomodation is next door to a temple that has chanting through a loud speaker starting at 05.30am and lasts about 45 minutes. This is repeated at 6pm....very loud.“

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, which we really appreciated. A huge shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Highlights: Location: Direct beach access is a dream! Breakfast: Instead of a buffet, they offer a delicious à la carte breakfast (included). I highly recommend trying the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast – it was absolutely superb. One downside: While the general staff was fantastic, we found the management/owners to be a bit rude and unfriendly. This was quite a contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming service we received from everyone else. Conclusion: If you value cleanliness, amazing food, and being right on the beach, this is a great choice—just be prepared for a slightly cold reception from the management."

"We stayed at this hotel for six nights and overall we were very satisfied with our experience. We booked and paid through Expedia, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold towel, which was a very nice and thoughtful gesture after a long journey. The rooms were comfortable and in good condition. They were clean and well maintained, and considering local standards in Sri Lanka, the level of cleanliness was absolutely fine. Some minor renovation or refreshing could make the rooms even better, but this did not affect our stay in any negative way. The food selection was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Both breakfast and dinner offered plenty of choices, and we always found something we really enjoyed. What made our stay truly pleasant was the staff. Everyone was very kind and friendly, from the restaurant team during breakfast and dinner to the room attendants and the staff at the pool towel desk. We always felt welcome and well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful time here and would gladly return in the future. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!"

The location is perfect, right at Mirissa Beach, and the hotel is in excellent condition, well maintained, and clearly run with pride and care. What truly makes NIIRA special, however, is the people. The managers and every single staff member work in perfect harmony, creating a genuinely warm, professional, and welcoming environment. The team is extremely friendly, proactive, and helpful, always going the extra mile with a smile. The food selection is fantastic, offering a wide range of top quality options for every taste and beautifully presented. A very special highlight: I needed a quiet room for an important meeting, and when I asked, the team immediately offered me a suite free of charge for the meeting. "Super Lage, direkt am Strand, tolle Aussicht, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer und unheimlich praktisch, da sogar eine Waschmaschine gratis zur Verfügung steht und sogar ein Wäscheständer gebracht wurde. WiFi funktioniert ebenfalls gut. Zudem war bei uns im Zimmer alles sehr sauber. Ein absolutes no go ist allerdings Gästen ins Gesicht zu lügen! Diese Unterkunft ist aktuell (und wahrscheinlich noch sehr lange) eine totale Baustelle und gerade erst im Aufbau. Bohren, Hämmern usw. von morgens bis abends! Ich hatte sogar vor Anreise noch explizit nachgefragt, ob aktuell Bauarbeiten stattfinden was verneint wurde! Das erste, was wir dann hörten, war: Baulärm! Auf erneuten Kontakt hin wurde mir mehrfach zugesichert, dass die Bauarbeiten pausiert / eingestellt werden - 3x hat man das schriftlich versprochen! Natürlich war auch das eine Lüge und es ging munter weiter. Hier wird dem zahlenden Gast ins Gesicht gelogen. Dann wollte man mir erzählen, es würde unter uns in den Räumen lediglich die AC repariert werden, was mehr als offensichtlich nicht der Fall war. Überall stehen neue Matratzen in den Gängen, es liegt Bauschutt rum, auf dem Balkon unter uns wurde der Aussenbereich gestaltet/ Fußleisten angebracht etc. Man wird völlig verarscht! Es ist mehr als offensichtlich, dass hier eine komplette Renovierung stattfindet!! An Frechheit und Arroganz kaum zu überbieten. Mit Urlaubsflair und Erholung hat das NICHTS zu tun!! Zudem wird bei der Zimmerbeschreibung ein "jacuzzi" erw"
