The villa was well-furnished and pretty. The kitchen had everything and more than we needed. The sofas were comfortable, as was the bed. The washer/ dryer was nice and some detergent pods were provided. We really enjoyed having morning coffee on the lanai and using the lounge chairs to relax. The walk-out of the ground floor was so nice and it was a peaceful and quiet location with a great view of the Onolea Beach area. A short walk led to the stairs to get down to the beach. We appreciated that beach chairs and cooler and other items were provided.The property management company communicated well with us through texts and email. They were also quick to respond to a minor need we had. The unit did feel a bit smaller and more dated than I expected. The shower/bath is sunken and was a bit tricky to navigate. The cellphone/wifi reception was spotty, as the unit sits low down the hillside, I suspect.All things considered, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Loved this unit! Beautiful views! A bit more private than some other units in this complex as it is located on the side closest to Ritz property. Right above beach and walkway. A few tiny ants - but management property gave us bug spray. Xtra towels delivered after a few requests. Would rent again!

Great Condo & Complex in an Unbeatable Location

We loved our stay here. The unit was nicely furnished, including a kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals on the patio with a 5-star view. The complex is clean and well-kept, and the pools are situated in great areas with unique views. The check-in process was smooth, communication was clear and helpful, and we will definitely look to stay here again. The unit was clean, spacious, and all around wonderful.

Fantastic location and view

The condo was very clean, comfortable, quiet and well stocked. The view was amazing, and easy access to the ridge trail, beaches and golf were perfect for us. The unit was in great condition and management checked in several times to make sure everything was ok. Arrival and departure were easy. We plan to rent again. Highly recommend.

I loved the colors of the condo. It would be nice if check out was a little later. They were pretty inflexible about that. We had to fix ice machine because it hadn’t been maintained. Beach chairs and umbrellas were nice, but access to cushions for uncomfortable outside chairs would be nice too. Had to replace several light bulbs. Lots of soaps available, but more shower gel would be nice. Overall place is awesome, but just a little tweaking on maintenance would make it perfect!

Beautiful unit in Kapalua

The listing is very accurate. Great location in Kapalua. Modern and nice unit. Easy access to the ocean. Very spacious for a 1 bedroom unit. Easy parking. Comfortable bed. The grounds at KBV are very well maintained.

Great oceanfront property

We stayed here with our 1- and 3-year olds. We rented a crib, toddler bed & other essentials from Maui Baby Rentals and had a positive experience. I felt the listing very accurately represents the villa. It is quite spacious, with plenty of room in the bedroom for both a crib and toddler bed, and plenty of space in the bathroom living/dining areas. The bed is very comfortable and all the furniture is clean and modern. One downside was that the bedroom door has a slatted door, so even slight noises from the common spaces can be heard in the bedroom. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked but was missing a few items such as measuring cups and tongs to use for grilling. Other reviews have mentioned the shower/bathtub negatively, however, we felt that this was the perfect setup for getting sand off young children because we could easily stand in there with them. It doesn't seem to be explicitly called out in the listing, so I thought it is worth mentioning that we received several pre-arrival communications stating that this management company doesn't grant any early or late check-outs. (We didn't need one this trip but sometimes with young kids it makes a world of difference in experience and our requests have typically been accommodated elsewhere). The villa is very close to the stairs to the beach, which is great. 2 of the pools are also very close. Kapalua Bay tends to very windy (winds were 20-30 mph every day during the stay) - something to consider when planning!

Beachfront Bliss

Kapalua Bay Villa is a beautiful, gated enclave between the Ritz and the Montage on Oneloa Beach. It has ocean views and walk out access to lovely patio, grass, and the uncrowded beach, as well as direct access to the Kapalua Bay Trail. Perfect! Without the crowds at Kaanapali or Napili. Outstanding snorkeling is just a couple of minutes away at Kapalua Bay. The condo itself is quite spacious and beautifully furnished, with tall ceilings and abundant light and views. There is a community pool and Bbq. We did have to ask for extra towels and bath mats, but Maui Paradise was very responsive. It may be time to replenish glassware and kitchen utensils- there are no bbq tools in the unit. Overall the stay was heavenly for two of us, but the pullout sofa could easily accommodate a couple of kids if ours weren’t away at school! I know lots of people like all the action at Kaanapali but we really prefer Kapalua. There are many fine resorts and restaurants to choose from - the bar at the Ritz, Plantation House, Sea House, Taverna, Sansei to name a few. We look forward to booking this one again!

Perfect getaway for small family!

Had a great stay and loved the property! Will be back, for sure. Brought our 2 year old and 7 year old. We rented a pack and play for the youngest to sleep in, and used the pullout bed in the living room for the other. So convenient to the beach, clean, comfortable bed, amazing views, all you need right there. Great service from the property management company when we noticed a broken beach chair—they were replaced within the day. Thanks for a memorable family vacation!

Prime location

This unit is beautiful & fantastic for a small family or couple. The view of the bay is just stunning, a short walk to the beach, and near zero light pollution at night (perfect for my fellow stargazers). The entire unit has AC so you won’t be cooking in the bedroom at night. The bed is really comfortable as well. Only issue with this unit was the washer. The rinse cycle doesn’t work and leaves your clothes soaked after the wash. (But definitely not a deal breaker)
