The villa is a perfect with all the facilities required and in a great location the outside pool area is wonderful, with the most fantastic views, every single evening is a beautiful event watching the sunset between the taurus mountains and the sea. Mehmet is a fantastic host and organised the connections of picking us up from Fethiye port and dropping us off at Dalaman airport as well as arranging trips to Kastellorizo and Kekova. All essential foodstuffs available on arrival and the odd treat left as well. leaving us to enjoy a perfect, relaxing holiday.

Fantastic first trip to Turkey

The accommodation and location are spot on! The accommodation is fantastic - spacious, clean, well furnished, bright, loads of areas to relax / eat / kids to play. It has everything anyone could possibly want. Mem is a truly great host - fantastic up front communication and so helpful during the stay, waiting up very late to welcome us and even arranging a welcome pack and pizzas to feed the hungry guests. The area has loads to offer if you have your own transport (can’t comment on public transport) including beaches, stunning gorge walk, places to eat, towns and villages to visit, snorkelling, walking, ruins, caves etc etc. 11 days was not enough!

Great Villa , secluded for privacy.

This was our second time staying at this villa, and it was just as amazing as our first visit. Everything about our experience was truly perfect. The host was incredibly helpful, arranging airport transfers and car hire with great efficiency. The villa itself is spotless and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was exactly what we had hoped for—beautiful, private, and well-maintained, with a lovely pool and grounds. The villa provides complete seclusion, offering the privacy our family needed, which was a true delight. The air conditioning was flawless, and there was always plenty of hot water. I can’t praise this villa enough. We’ve already recommended it to friends whenever Turkey comes up in conversation. Thank you once again, and I eagerly anticipate our return to Üzümlü and Villa Shahin.

Villa Sahin in Uzumlu

We recently spent 12 nights at Villa Sahin in Uzumlu, positioned in the Taurus mountains just outside Kalkan. Fabulous stay in this spacious 3 bedroom villa and Mehmet the owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating to our needs. The Villa comes fully equipped and has far reaching views over sea and mountains. The position is great, so quiet and peaceful and only 15 minutes to Kalkan by Taxi. Lots of outdoor space and with a llarge terrace with barbecue and a very attractive pool area. We look forward to our next return. During our stay both Ermine and Hussain were extremely helpful . Amazing Villa

We have been staying in holiday villas for over 20 years and I can truly say that this is the cleanest most beautiful pool we have ever had and view is breathtaking. Villa has everything you need it really does. We were delayed on our way to the villa and we arrived at 3:40 am but Hussain was kindly waiting for us to let us in and show us around - that was so nice and so kind. Hussain and Emine were both very kind and very helpful !! So was Mehmet nothing was too much trouble. All in all a fantastic holiday! Thank you all very much

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Şahin 1. The villa is spacious, beautifully maintained, and set in the most peaceful location with breathtaking views over the mountains and coastline. Waking up each morning to that view was a real highlight.The house had everything we needed and more, with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of outdoor seating areas, and a lovely private pool which was cleaned daily. It was perfect for our two young children, who played in the fantastic pool all day.Our host Mehmet was fantastic. He was warm, welcoming, and always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. He also recommended a taxi driver when we didn’t fancy driving into town for dinner. We did this several times with the fabulous Onur, whose number we left on the fridge in the kitchen (90 (543) 945 18 40). A simple WhatsApp with the time you want to be collected or picked up is all it takes. He was one of the nicest people we met in Turkey; genuine, great with the kids, and by the end of our stay he felt like a friend. The fares were also very reasonable.Kalkan itself is only a short drive away with plenty of amazing restaurants, shops, and the harbour. We also loved the tranquillity of Uzumlu where the villa is located. We had the best of both worlds, peaceful and private yet close enough to explore everything the area has to offer.We could not recommend the Villa highly enough. It is a perfect retreat for anyone looking for comfort, space and a truly special setting

Nigh Perfect - one of best bangs for buck ever with a perfect villa host

The villa is just like it looks in the pictures, it really is that beautiful, it was impeccably clean, with everything you need. The location was just perfect for us, high enough up the mountains to be a few degrees cooler, but only a 15m drive or £10 for a taxi into Kalkan which really is very nice, so much prettier than Kas, Fethiye or Oludeniz feel much more upmarket with all the pretty little shops and restaurant’s, no tacky neon light strip here. You have near perfect privacy and the pool is just divine. Mehmet the owner was the icing on the cake, our own friend in Kalkan. First our plane was delayed, and we were going to arrive to late for the restaurants and take aways, so he arranged for take away pizza to be there when we arrived, I’m thinking how nice is that! but that was just the start, we needed water shoes to go on the jeep safari, so my wife msg Mehmet where’s best to get some, he was at the market so picked some up for us, he arranged the car hire and transfers for us at very good rates, and some of our days out, (best rep ever) and on the last day when we checked out, he made sure we were looked after right up until we got picked up, He made our holiday feel like we were visiting family or friends, we enjoyed our time so very much and will return for sure! I really can’t recommend this villa and Mehmet enough, if you pick this villa you will have a truly wonderful holiday.

What can we say - we loved it here. If you love stunning scenery and absolute privacy in a delightful rural location with friendly locals yet only 15 minutes drive from Kalkan you will too. Mehmet, the owner, who has lived in the UK for years, happened to be there so all our communications were with him. He was lovely, extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. Prior to arriving the communications were good and he was always available if we needed anything but wasn’t at all obtrusive. The house itself is lovely - really well stocked kitchen (even an air fryer) and very clean (if we have one criticism it is the fact that there was no ‘mood lighting’ and the lights were quite bright - we mentioned this and Mehmet gave us a lamp which helped) but the real wow factor is the outdoor area which is a delight. If you need it there is always somewhere shady (we went in late April and it was full sun and mid 20s) and there are loads of chairs and loungers. It was warm enough to swim in the pool which was a bonus. (Mehmet also showed us his other smaller property next door which had a real wow factor and which we would also have been delighted to stay in). Be aware that being in a village there are sounds of chickens and dogs - we personally love this. Kalkan itself is lovely as is Kaş - the coastal drive there is off the scale. Lovely beach on the way (Kaputaş). A really relaxing, memorable and recommendable holiday.

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf in Vila Sahin. Na een hikevakantie in Cappadocië keken we er enorm naar uit om te ontspannen en de streek rond Kalkan te verkennen. De vila leende zich hier perfect toe ! 3 verzorgde kamers, 2 badkamers met douche en toilet, een woonkamer, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en niet te vergeten 2 prachtige terrassen en een verwarmd zwembad. Het huis en de buitenruimtes zijn sfeervol ingericht waardoor je je meteen thuis voelt. De communicatie met Mehmet verliep vlot en hij was zeer behulpzaam. We werden warm verwelkomd met een welkomstpakket. Het is aan te raden om een huurauto te nemen zodat je ook de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving kan ontdekken. Dit was ongetwijfeld één van de betere vakantieaccomodaties die we al geboekt hebben. Een aanrader voor een ontspannen vakantie waar genieten voorop staat !

Schöner, ruhiger Familienurlaub

Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort zum erholen. Patara,Kapitas Plaj und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis von 20 km problemlos mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Familie von Mehmet Abi ist sehr,sehr nett ,zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Fast jeden Tag haben wir frisches Gemüse von Emine Abla bekommen.Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft auch schon voll mit Sachen die man zum Frühstück benötigt Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für alles.

Great welcome to VillaSahin in Uzumlu from Hussein &Emine . Villa was clean and cool very good air conditioning , rooms were all well equipped,plenty of towels and linens. Villa was well stocked with all travellers needs. Outside gardens and surrounding pool area lovely and well maintained. The pool was a good size lovely and refreshing with great loungers to relax after a dip. Uzumlu itself is well equipped with restaurants and a supermarket with everything a big thanks to the owner Hussein and his wife who ordered things for us and became friends. The beaches are stunning particularly Pattara outstandingly clean, the sea was great, people friendly a cafe toilets and changing area . A must visit is Saklikent Gorge breathtakingly beautiful and so cold the water from the glacier but great fun so many things to do see and enjoy The owner helped us with car hire and airport transfers which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend Villa Sahin Uzumlu and Turkey stunning.

Die schönste Seite der Türkei gesehen.

Die Villa liegt in einer ländlichen Region in Kalkan, mit Sicht auf Meer und Gebirge und fern vom Massentourismus. Die Villa ist schön eingerichtet Es ist alles vorhanden. Der Pool war zu unserer Zeit leider zu kühl zum Schwimmen, da die Außentemperaturen meist um die 20 grad waren. Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern war super freundlich, vor Ort haben sich Emine und Hüseyin um die Villa gekümmert und waren immer bereit bei Problemen zu helfen. Wir können die guten Vor-Kommentare nur bestätigen und würden diese Villa gerne bald wieder mieten.

Breathtakingly situated villa, in immaculate condition

This is our third visit to kalkan and by far the best villa we have ever stayed in. The owners Mehmet & Donna were helpful from start of our journey, answering all our queries and making the whole experience smooth and comfortable. The villa itself was well maintained and in a very private area which makes you feel your in a luxury hidden spot. However not to far away from the villa you have an amazing pide restaurant and uzumulir market which had all our essentials for the week. Husein the shop keeper was always helpful. The highlight of the villa was the stunning views from the balcony. We were also given a generous welcome package which we really appreciated. Many thanks again, we will be back for sure Nusayba&Ridha

Nice place for private family holidays

My review is from the perspective of a conscious muslim with three little kids and a wife: a) Sight protection: 3/5 stars It is relatively private, you have a sight protection, which you should modify a bit, so that really nobody can have a look at your family when you are swimming. this was a point I first had to clear with Mehmets relatives which manage the property. They tried to improve the sight protection. b) The pool: 5/5 stars The pool is being cleaned frequently so you always have clean water in the pool. c) Interior equipment: 5/5 stars The interior has actually everything you need. It has got wifi internet, a tv (but almost only turkish channels). You have a fully equipped kitchen wich washing machine, dish machine, cooking station with oven and refrigator. You have climate engines that work well. Everything works well. d) Interior safety: 3/5 stars I have three little boys who like to run around and play with everything. There were two major risks which made me feel uncomfortable all the time. The gas cooker doesn't have a child protection. Many times my children turned on the gas. The other big risk was the stairs. My children liked sitting on the stairs which are made of stone and are very steep. My youngest boy which is not a two years old can't always hold his balance, so I had always to look after him that he would not fall down the stairs when we were upstairs in the kitchen. If you have children think of shutting the windows at night so they can't get out to the pool! e) Hygienics: 4/5 The wife of Mehmeds nephew always looks after the house and cleans up the rooms, the kitchen, the pool and everything. So this was always ok. The only thing that really annoyed me were the earwigs which hid inside our clothes when we hung them up at the terrace. We had to shake out our clothes so to get rid of the earwigs hiding inside. f) Sight: 5/5 You have a very beautiful landscape, especially when you are sitting in the first floor on the terrace. We really enjoyed our breakfast and lunches and dinners out there. g) Surroundings: 5/5 You have a very beautiful mountain area with nice mosques and near the villa a nice pide bakery. We enyojed cruising with our SUV. i) Mehmeds family: 10/5 stars! I really miss his family, they are very kind people with a big heart. His nephews wife brought us very tasty turkish food and I visited their home. Inshallah I will see them again in a few years when I go there again when my children are a little bit older!

!!!EINFACH NUR WUNDERVOLL!!!

Traumhafte Lage in einer wunderschönen Natur oberhalb von Kalkan/Kas! Mitten im grünen und stillen liegt diese sehr schöne und grosszügige Villa mit einem einmaligen Blick ins Tal und aufs Meer! Mobiliar ist anspruchsvoll und neuwertig, es ist genügend Platz bis zu 9/10 Personen.....voll ausgestattet und wirklich sehr SAUBER! Das Dorf Üzümlü ist auch sehr schön, vorallem hat man alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht....kleiner Supermarkt, Friseur (empfehlenswert und günstig), leckere Restaurant usw.....die Menschen dort sind sehr nett und aufgechlossen, man muss absolut keine Scheu haben!! Sonnengarantie bis in den November rein! Das geniale an der Villa, abgesehen vom Ambiente, ist die Lage..........man ist in ca 15 min an den schönsten Stränden Türkei´s, Kaputas und Patara, diese sind wirklich sehr schön. In ca 8-10 min ist man in Kalkan wo man alles bekommen kann usn natürlich auch schöne Strände hat. In 40 min ist man in Kas und in 1 Stunde in Fethiye/Ölüdeniz, 18km entfernt ist der Canyon "Saklikent" (atemberaubend). Die Betreuung findet durch die unmittelbaren Nachbarn statt, Hüseyin und Emine, die ausserordentlich nett und gastfreundlich und rund um die Uhr erreichbar sind. Villa Sahin ist ohne Einschränkungen 100 % empfehlenswert. Danke an Donna und Mehmet für diesen sehr schönen, erholsamen Urlaub in eurer wundervollen Villa!

Tolles Ferienhaus in wunderbarer Lage mit super Außenanlage

Sehr schönes und sauberes Ferienhaus mit gepflegtem Pool in toller Außenanlage. Der nächste Strand ist ca. 15 Autominuten entfernt, ein kleines Geschäft fußläufig. Dessen Inhaber war sehr freundlich, hatte immer etwas Besonderes im Angebot und legte dem Einkauf häufig Obst u.ä. bei. Die Hausverwalter Hussein und seine Frau Emina haben uns sehr zuvorkommend umsorgt, u.a. mit selbst zubereiteten Speisen. Wir haben uns in den drei Wochen dort herzlich willkommen und wirklich wohl gefühlt.

Wonderful Villa Eahin

This was our fourth year at lovely Villa Sahin. The villa this year was looked after by Memhet and Donna's nephew Hussein and his wife Emine, not forgetting their 10 year old son, Amhed. They made our stay even better than previous years, the villa was spotlessly clean thanks to Emine, and the pool/patio areas were kept equally as clean by Hussein. Emine was a real joy and brought us turkish delights nearly every lunch time. Great to experience real turkish food. She constantly smiles and laughs and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. Although we know our way around fairly well bynow, we decided to take a 90 km drive to a town we wanted to visit (El Mali) ,Hussein wanted us to let his father drive us there as he was concerned that the drive through the mountains, which had stunning scenery and lovely unspoilt villages, would be hard for two ladies on their own! However, we had made similar journeys in previous years and were quite happy to go on our own. But the kindness of the offer is a reflection of how the family wantedour holiday to be as relaxing and easy as possible. Absolutely love this place, the villa with it's super pool and amazing views , sunsets to die for, and the village itself. Great Pide (similar to a Pitza) place in the village and they are happy to deliver to villa at ridiculously low price. Some great little resteraunts in the next village (Islamlar) fresh trout being a speciality. The drive to Kalcan takes about 20 minutes.Lovely harbour area, Winding alleys, lots of eating places, and nice shops. Defy anyone not to completly unwind and enjoy everything the villa has to offer. Already looking forward to next Sept. The owners Memhet and Donna,also organise transfer from airport and car hire (which is essential)

Amazing immaculate stress free

We have just arrived back from a 3 week stay at villa sahin what an amazing place to stay the views took my breath away. The villa is exactly what it says it is so clean and tidy. Thank you to Hussein and his wife for taking such good care of us and the villa. What an amazing villa it is situated up in the mountains so relaxing and how lovely walking in to cool air conditioning when you have been in the sun. The transfers from the airport were so easy and the car hire was great to have to go down to the town Kalkan sitting down at the marina was so stunning. You won't want for anything they even supply dishwasher tablets and washing powder. Thank you Donna and Mehmet for an amazing stress free holiday and we will see you again in 2017 from Karen and Jason Butler x

Superb tranquility

Have just arrived home from a week at Villa Sahin in Uzumlu, Kalkan. The arrangements beforehand with Mehmet and Donna were just brilliant and we had no cares or issues when setting off, even our transfers to the villa and car hire whilst in the area were arranged via Mehmet. The villa is well appointed, air conditioned, modern and very comfortable with all amentities including free wi-fi, and set in a beautiful mountain village with fabulous views. It was like stepping back in time to an age of unrushed, unfettered peace and the surroundings just let the relaxation come naturally. The owners family, Hussein, his wife and lovely son were just superb and nothing was too much trouble for them in helping us settle in. We were even brought home cooked Turkish food to trying a number of occasions, which was delicious and incredibly thoughtful and kind. We shopped locally with another Hussein in the village who was so helpful to making sure we had what we needed. The Pide shop in the village is a must try with delicious food at a fraction of cost, we fed four of us for 50TL = £12.50 and there was plenty to spare. The local barber, Sulieman, is a must visit too for a Turkish shave. I was pampered for 40 minutes and he only wanted 4TL = £1.00!! Modesty put to one side, I refused to pay this and gave him 20TL = only £5.00 and it was worth every penny!! Trips into Kalkan only took 15 minutes and the beaches at Kaputas and Patara made for excellent days out. Having tea, coffee, sugar, a welcome pack full of delicious goodies, washing powder and dishwasher tablets provided is something we had never experienced before and it epitomises the way Uzumlu makes you feel, no one trying to eek every penny out of you. We will certainly be going back, not something we often say.

The perfect villa for a totally relaxing holiday!!

I would like to thank Mehmet & Donna for making our holiday a total pleasure from start to finish. It was one of the most relaxing holidays that we have had. The villa was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need....even hair straighteners!!! Set higher up the mountain it gives the most spectacular views and watching the sun going down each night was just idyllic. The villa is not overlooked and has no immediate neighbours so was totally peaceful. Hussein is so friendly and was always on hand if we needed anything at all.... he cleaned the pool every night and kept the whole area immaculate. Imanez (I hope I've spelt that right) brought the most delicious food (Stuffed peppers, stuffed aubergines, gozleme with spinach & cheese etc....) quite a few times during the holiday which was such a lovely surprise. I have never seen anyone smile so much, she was adorable!! Once again, thanks to you and your family for making it a perfect holiday. Lesley, Chris, Marshall & Fraser

Once is not enough !!!

Second time here to this fantastic well managed home from home villa. You have everything you need to relax and unwind in a quite location. Kalkan 10 minutes away same as the beach with sights to see and cruises to go on there is plenty to do or like us just chill in he massive pool. You will find the villa very clean and well maintained with nice little extras like welcome packs which make a differance to your holiday .Fancy staying in well have a BBQ by the pool or on the upper patio which gives you the most amazing views of the valley and night is a treat watching the shooting stars in the clear sky.plenty of room for the larger family too. You will not be disappointed here truly a wonderful place . We will be back again. Donna and Mehmet thank you for allowing us to share this paradise .......The cheshire's
