Welcome to our light-filled Katoomba cottage, a charming retreat for up to six guests. Unwind in the spacious sunroom overlooking the garden, enjoy a meal on the sunny deck, or curl up by the log fire after a day exploring nearby bushwalks and waterfalls. With a generous garden and the town centre just a short drive away, it’s an inviting place to slow down and enjoy the Blue Mountains.

About the cottage
A light-filled 1930s Katoomba cottage with space to relax and room for up to six guests.
- Three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with bunk beds.
- One bathroom with a shower and baby bath, plus a separate toilet.
- A sunny sunroom and dining room overlook the garden.
- High ceilings and hardwood floors add to the cottage’s character.
- An open fireplace with a screen; we provide firewood and kindling for your first evening.
- Central gas heating warms the cottage quickly.

Kitchen and comforts
Everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay.
- The gas kitchen is fully equipped for cooking.
- Help yourself to herbs from the veggie patch.
- Wi-Fi is available via the NBN, and the TV has free-to-air digital channels.
- Sheets, towels and bedding are provided.

For families and garden lovers
Enjoy room to play, explore and unwind outdoors.
- The cottage sits on a block of more than 1,000 square metres, with a large back garden.
- Toys for young children and a selection of board games are provided, including Scrabble, backgammon and chess.
- The bird feeder often attracts king parrots, rosellas and sulphur-crested cockatoos in the mornings.

Location and getting around
A peaceful Katoomba setting, close to bushland, waterfalls and town.
- Mini Ha-Ha Falls and its swimming hole are nearby.
- A large bush reserve at the end of the street is ready to explore.
- Katoomba’s antique shops and cafés are a short drive away.
- The station is a short drive away or about a 20-minute walk.
- A limited bus service stops nearby. If you don’t have a car, a taxi from the station is the most convenient option.
- The cottage is in the Blue Mountains, a World Heritage-listed area.

Make yourself at home
Spend your days bushwalking, browsing local shops and cafés, or enjoying the garden. In the evening, cook up a feast, gather around the fire or settle in with a good book.

- Rates cover up to four guests; additional guest charges may apply.
- Minimum stay: two nights.
- The cottage accommodates up to six guests.
Please consider our lovely neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm

No smoking inside. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided in the backyard of the property.

No parties or events.

No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 7 people.

Keep a close eye on your kids near the fishpond and the open fire.

No pets allowed.

Make sure you turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.

Report any damage and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.

Wash the dishes, and throw out the garbage before checkout.

You may find condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests in the kitchen. We try our very best to ensure that they have not expired. HOWEVER, please inspect them before you use them as we don’t take any responsibility for these consumables.
