Comme le dit un proverbe chinois, une image vaut mille mots, mais ce à quoi on est confronté en arrivant à la Villa dépasse les attentes les plus folles de chaque client: du salon avec les canapés confortables près de la cheminée à la grande table à manger élégante et entièrement équipé
cuisine répondant à toutes les demandes.

En montant au premier étage, les chambres offrent un sommeil relaxant et une vue incomparable depuis les fenêtres ouvertes donnant sur la baie de Sami et l'île d'Ithaque.

We had a very nice stay, the house is confortable, close to Sami which is a nice place to discover Cephalonia. Eleni and Marinos are welcoming, it was a real pleasure to meet them.

Villa Marilena is a fantastic place for peaceful vacations. We’ve loved to stay there and we were not happy when it was time to leave. The view from the terrace or Balcony is stunning! The villa is equipped with much more than what you would need. Everything is clean and the hosts Marinos and Eleni have welcomed us very warmly! One of our best location ever.

Tout nous a plu dans cette villa: l'accueil des propriétaires, les 1001 commodités (même un appareil à Nescafe frappé ), la toilette en bas, la piscine, la grande terrasse en haut, les 2 salles de bain, les nombreuses attentions des proprios (bouteille de vin, pâtes, douceurs...), le grand garage, le calme, la proximité de Sami. on est comme a la maison. Encore un grand merci à eux deux et a une prochaine, nous l'espérons.

Marinos et son épouse sont très accueillants et sensibles au bien-être de leurs locataires. La villa est superbe et très bien équipée, conforme aux photos. La vue est magnifique. Le site est calme et très reposant. En juillet/août la climatisation dans chaque pièce est très appréciable. Avec Google Maps l’accès à la maison est simple. Il y a 2 tavernes familiales très sympas et typiques à deux pas de la villa et à 5 km le petit port de Sami propose les principaux services (supermarchés, magasins, bars...).

It was our home for 2 weeks mid March, relaxing, comfortable and central to where we wanted to go, 1hr max driving.Beautiful scenery everywhere. We like to explore, but the lovely villa, pool, facilities and views would allow for a very relaxing home for 2 weeks.A hire car is necessary for the 10 minute drive to Sami for the supermarkets or many restaurants and cafés

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Marilena, Eleni and Marino are the most perfect of hosts. They really couldn’t have done enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property’s location was perfect for us, we love Chaliotata village some nice places to eat and not far from Sami. The villa was just as pictured and Marino and Eleni were always at the other end of the phone whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Eleni and Marino for making our holiday so enjoyable, hope to see you again.

Thanks Marinos and Eleni. Enjoyed our stay in spite of the heatwave at the end ! Got to explore my heritage in Zervata opposite your home as well as do the normal tourist stuff. It was a crime that i have been registered for my ‘taftotita’ in Sami / Grizata all my life and i had not been to visit until this trip. We will be back. Kalo kalokairi ! Best George Zervos

Fantastic location overlooking the bay to Ithaca and about a mile into Sami by car. Marinos and family were so helpful and always on hand if we needed anything what a really nice man. Air con in bedrooms were perfect at night and bug screens , but the critters did bite a few times 😂 If you’re looking for a place just outside Sami then you can’t go wrong . Only suggestions would be another couple of loungers for upstairs balcony 👍 Really pleased with the quiet location and setting and the daily Goat parade past the villa made our holiday .

We had a lovely week at Villa Marilena. Really easy check in and the villa was really clean. Lovely pool and beautiful views towards Ithaki and the sea. Loved the master bedroom with on-suite bathroom. Minor issue with one of the WC was fixed immediately. Would be very happy to return and to recommend to anyone looking for a villa in Kefalonia. Great location for exploring the island.

We stayed at Villa Marilena for 10 days and had a great time. It is in a great location with wonderful views and outdoor space. Only 15 mins from Sami by car with all its restaurants and shops. The property itself probably needs a bit of updating, particularly the showers which work but are not great. Also a new toaster wouldn’t go amiss. We had a couple of minor problems with getting the wi fi working and the fridge broke down but Marinos responded quickly to both issues and were sorted within 24 hours. Would happily stay again.

We enjoyed a fantastic 2 week family holiday at this excellent villa. Spacious, clean accommodation, very private, excellent air conditioning, private internal garage with electronic gates. Really nice pool and very comfortable rooms. We explored all of the island from here by car and majority of places are no more than 45 mins drive. Would thoroughly recommend.

This villa is such a delight. We wanted a quiet get away from it all holiday and this was the perfect location. The villa has everything you need and more. The pool is so private with loads of space around it for sunbeds and using the bbq. The views are wonderful. We can't wait to return. Absolutely perfect. Stunning location and brilliant hosts. No hassle getting in touch with hosts. They met us promptly at the villa to give us the key and a quick tour of the villa. Easy checkout. We had a great holiday here over the Easter holidays 2022. Marinos and Eleni were so helpful and the villa was lovely. We had trouble with flight cancellations and changes twice since our original booking, and Marinos and Eleni were so flexible and helpful. The villa was perfect for us and our family... 2 teenagers and a 12 year old - 5 of is in total. Its location is great just a short drive from Sami and central to a lot of points of interest. We had everything we needed and the villa is very well equipped and very well designed to accommodate a family. The pool is lovely and the view amazing, especially at sunrise. Would highly recommend.

Lovely villa situated in the hills overlooking the town of Sami and the island of Ithaca. The villa is in the perfect position to explore the beautiful island of Kefalonia. The views from the villa are absolutely stunning and you can never tire of admiring them. Set in a very peaceful location with the only sounds to be heard are the cows, sheep and the unmistakable sound of goat bells as they pass up the road past the villa. The villa is spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The hosts Marinos and Eleni were absolutely lovely, we're there to welcome us when we arrived and always on hand should you have a problem. A car is essential and it is only a short drive into the beautiful harbour town of Sami with plenty of bars and restaurants. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. Paul & Julia Sept 2021

We booked in for 12 nights stay at villa Marilena, we had a absolutely fantastic time here, we were met at the villa by Marinos & Eleni who were very friendly and helpful, a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and a few treats. The villa is in a absolutely fabulous setting overlooking the beautiful mountains of Kefalonia and Sami, furnished to a really high standard and really comfortable, beds were very comfortable, and the views from these rooms and the top terrace were stunning, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much and loved the peace and quiet so stayed at the villa by the pool on many days. Sami was a short drive around 7 minutes, many restaurants and was lovely going for coffee in the mornings looking at the boats at the harbour, we had many meals here in the evening, Antisamos beach was 15 minutes drive way and beautiful, the villa is situated in a good place for exploring the island, we will definitely be returning in the future. Loved hearing the goats with there bells, and frequently saw them around the villa and walking up the road very cute.

Better than described. If you seek relaxation then I highly recommend. The only noise to be heard was that which we made ourselves and the occasional animal sounds, yet Sami is only a 5/10 minute drive away. Ideally situated for exploring the island (car essential). The villa is extremely well equipped, very well appointed and exceptionally clean and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Marinos, I hope your back is better. All in all we had a super time and I would not hesitate to recommend highly. It will certainly be our first choice if we return to the island.

We would like to thank Marino’s for a wonderful stay in his beautiful villa. The pictures do not do the villa justice it is much nicer in real life. My husband said that the beds are very comfy and the air conditioning is excellent. We also enjoyed full use of the BBQ and pool area, Marino’s was on hand whenever we needed him, which was only once, we will definitely be going back again, hopefully next year, thank you again for a fantastic visit.... see you again soon MIchelle, Richard, Natalie, Lucianne, Ben and Matty

Ένα καταπληκτικό σπίτι με ΟΛΕΣ τις ανέσεις και παροχές που θα μπορούσαμε να φανταστούμε. Η θέα σε καθηλώνει. Η πισίνα εξαιρετική. Όλα τα δωμάτια ευρύχωρα και μοναδικά διακοσμημένα. Οι ευγενέστατοι οικοδεσπότες δίπλα σου όποτε τους χρειαστείς . Η τοποθεσία ιδανική εφόσον διαθέτεις αυτοκίνητο και διάθεση για να δεις όλα τα αξιοθέατα και τις παραλίες αυτού του κορυφαίου νησιού. Η Σαμη, η Αντισαμος , τα σπήλαια Μελισσανης και Δραγκαρατης, ο Καραβομυλος και ο Άγιος Γεράσιμος βρίσκονται σε αποστάσεις 5 με 20 λεπτών ενώ Μυρτος και Αργοστόλι βρίσκονται σε αποστάσεις 30 λεπτών. Το νησί είναι μεγάλο και δεν υπάρχει καταλληλότερο σημείο για να επισκεφτείς τα περισσότερα από όσα πρέπει να δεις. Το σπίτι μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει άνετα και 2 οικογένειες με παιδιά. Ευχαριστούμε από την καρδιά μας τον Μαρίνο και την Ελένη που μας βοήθησαν να περάσουμε πραγματικά αξέχαστες διακοπές σε ένα από τα ομορφότερα νησιά της Ελλάδας. Θα επιστρέψουμε το συντομότερο δυνατό (με πρώτη επιλογή διαμονής την Villa Marilena).
