« Great stay, enjoyed the lake and canoeing right by a bald eagle (canoe, paddle board, and kayak were available on the property)!FYI: Recommended to bring bottled water with you during your stay. Cabin is set deep in the neighborhood and you will take several right angle turns while on the same road (perhaps due to the history of military and homestead square tracts). »

« A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. « Not many places I've visted in Alaska have a modern contemporary look and feel. This place does. It feels like the lower 48. That may or may not be your style, but if you enjoy those familiar comforts and experience. its a great place to stay. riverfront access, ice, cleaning station. friendly and welcoming hosts. modern conveniences such as digital/phone keys and communication, booking, etc. i hope to stay with them again. »

« I stayed at this place for two nights as a gap measure since my group arrived before I did and therefore left before I did. Everything was great! Place was clean and everything worked as intended.The pre arrival communication was superb and support while on-site was great. "La proximitĂ© avec l’aĂ©roport d’une part et avec les activitĂ©s sur Lake Hood d’autre part a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©terminante dans mon choix de cet hĂ©bergement. Le personnel Ă©tait sympathique et arrangeant. Ma chambre Ă©tait spacieuse, meublĂ©e modestement, draps et serviettes blancs et frais. Pour qui apprĂ©cie ce qui touche Ă  l’aviation et Ă  ses dĂ©buts en Alaska c’est le lieu incontournable. Le restaurant Pipers offre un grand choix de petits dĂ©jeuners et on peut consommer en terrasse en observant les mouvements des hydravions."
