You’ll be right in the heart of Keswick, with the market square, shops, pubs, restaurants, a pencil museum and a gallery within 0.5 miles. Keswick is one of the Lake District’s most lively market towns and sits 0.5 miles from the shores of Derwentwater, where you can hop aboard a launch, hire a motorboat or tackle the scenic 10-mile lakeside walk. Keen walkers can lace up their walking boots and conquer Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles). Pony trekking, climbing and adventures in the surrounding area, including boating and wild swimming at Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles), provide plenty of ways to fill your days.

Unload your car and step inside at the rear of the property, the apartment has an open-plan living area that brings everyone together. With two comfortable sofas, an armchair, solid oak furniture and entertainment including a Smart TV and DAB radio to keep you entertained. Cook up tasty meals in the stylish kitchen and dining area (that is, unless you fancy getting fish and chips in). There’s also a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, original Georgian shuttered windows, an easy chair and an en-suite shower room with WC. A second bedroom provides flexible sleeping arrangements with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be arranged as twins on request, also has a two seater sofa. The third bedroom is bright and cheerful, with twin zip-and-link beds that can be made into a super-king-size on request (additional charge applies). A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the accommodation.

Outside, you can spend time in the large shared garden which comes with outdoor furniture and play equipment for little ones to enjoy. You’ll have two parking spaces allocated to you and storage is available for bikes on a first-come, first-served basis and by prior arrangement.
