We had an amazing week at this property with 14 family members all together. The house set up was perfect with ample space for everyone. The beach is a short walk down the street where we spent the majority of our time and the pool in the backyard was so nice to have. The owners were super helpful as minor questions popped up, we couldn’t recommend this property more. We hope to be back soon!

The house was very nice. Beautiful setting. Loved the living room for us to gather and chat over coffee. Kitchen was well equipped and the kitchen seating was great for family meals.A few little things throughout the house need attention.Everyone loved the pool, great to hangout!!It was shaded in the late afternoon which made it extra nice. We didn’t use the pool items or extras that the owners graciously left in the garage for renters use(chairs, wagon etc).The walk to the beach was easy but longer than expected. Enjoyed our stay. Family Vacation

We did enjoy our time on Flyway Drive however we did have some issues. The pool heater was not working, we had a problem with no hot water on the 2nd floor and a bathroom pipe broke in the master bedroom. All areas were addressed but we had to take time out of our vacation to deal with these issues. Also, the pots and pans in the kitchen were in very poor shape. We had a large group and hoped to do more cooking but the lack of reasonable cook ware made this difficult. We did try to use the gas grill but that was a challenge. A less complicated outdoor grill would be helpful !

Excellent Home!

We stayed and Vanderhorst Plantation over the holidays and had a wonderful time! Extended family of 13 and we all had comfortable rooms, private bathrooms, and plenty of space to be together or to spread out. The kitchen is well-stocked, the furniture is comfortable, the home is clean and well-appointed. It feels more like you're visiting a friend's house than staying in a home that's been furnished as a rental. Caroline was always quick to respond and incredibly easy to work with on booking, check-in, and details along the way. The location is outstanding! The property is quiet and lush and just across the street from a beach access boardwalk! Can't recommend this property enough! Thank you for sharing it with us!

We were a family of 15 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The amenities and the layout of the home were perfect for our family. It was particularly nice to have the pool as an option as well as the close proximity of the beach. The property manager was readily available for any additional needs. Kiawah luxury home A+

Nine of us (4 siblings and spouses with our 91 year-old mother) had a wonderful stay of 6 nights (we wished we'd booked 7!). The house fit us all beautifully and comfortably, and was in fact bigger than we really needed. It is outfitted exceptionally well, from the kitchen to bathrooms to outdoor gear. We appreciated "small touches" like the plastic containers for leftover food and the fact that many cooking basics were supplied, also the plentiful beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, bikes, and cart to haul everything to the beach. We wished weather had been a bit warmer for spending time on the pool deck, and that a strong storm on our second-to-last day had not caused so many oak leaves and emerging flowers to rain down on the property! But, that is a function of the time of year we chose to come, and it in no way negatively impacted our stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house felt very private. All in all, we had a fantastic 6 days and would recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience the wonders of Kiawah.

Flyway is a beautiful, spacious home with lots of privacy for our families. The host, Caroline, was a gem to work with if we had questions or issues. Being near the ocean with accessible access was a big plus.

Absolutely AMAZING

Some friends and I rented this house for a quick weekend getaway and we could not have been more impressed! The house was immaculate and there was tons of room for us to hangout. Communication with the host prior to our stay and during our stay was quick and friendly. Caroline was so amazing and helpful! The house was pristine and there were so many amenities to make our stay even better! We are already talking about coming back for a longer stay!

The house was beautiful just like shown on the website. The pool is small but very nice. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in the pool. Overall the property is top notch. Only suggestion is to maybe make available several luggage racks in the house.

House is nice and large. Some normal wall dings, etc for a rental house but it was clean with nice furniture, bedding, etc. Pool was nice and house is short walk to the beach. Caroline the property manager was very very understanding with a health issue one of our family members had prior to our stay which put our trip in doubt but we ultimately stayed and had a great time. She was very responsive. Would stay again.

Old Friends Celebration

This house was perfect for our reunion of old college friends gathered together to celebrate a big birthday. There were twelve of us and the house had plenty of room for us — bedrooms, bathrooms, dining areas and sitting spots. The deck was wonderful and the beach was just a short walk away. We had a wonderful time and this house was a big reason. We loved it!

Great location!

We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The location is excellent, just a few walking minutes away from the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived and it easily accommodated our family of nine. The furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of dishes and silverware. We particularly enjoyed having a large living where the whole family could be together to read, watch TV, or play table games. The large kitchen table was also s big plus, as it allowed us to enjoy our informal meals together. Caroline,, the property manager, was easily reached, professional, and responsive. I felt the lack of shades in the primary bathroom was problematic, but she promptly made arrangements to have temporary shades installed. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and I hope to return in the near future.
