Hale Kamaole is in sunny South Kihei across from Kamaole Beach Park III, a popular, lifeguarded beach with room for a genuine family beach day. Kihei handles the practical side with groceries, coffee, and casual dining. Wailea and Makena make scenic outings farther south when you want different beach scenery. This is a welcoming area for guests who like beach access but do not need every part of the trip to happen inside a resort.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
