The property was perfect for my family and friends, total 12. It was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked to make home cooked meals. The rooms were spacious and cozy at the same time. Great vacation accommodations. Highly recommend.
The house was perfect. Clean, well maintained and a short drive to the mountain. Communication with Gregory was clear and prompt Gregory was even gracious enough to help coordinate getting some items back that we left the behind!
Loaferâs Lodge was everything as described but better! Well-appointed with all the creature comforts of home made our family feel welcome. The mudroom is spacious, heated & included boot/glove dryers so our gear was dry & ready every morning as we headed out the door to the slopes. The open floorplan including the living/dining/kitchen area is terrific for a large crowd or intimate family gatherings with views of the trails at Sugarloaf! We are a family of 6 adults and there was ample spaces to spread out, relax & enjoy endless streaming services on the oversized flatscreen above the gas fireplace. The well-stocked kitchen accommodates two or more cooks, is well-equipped for meal prep with all kinds of utensils, pans, flat top grill & the waffle maker was a huge hit with our crowd! 4 spacious bedrooms with plenty of closet/storage areas and new cushy carpet under foot. Our only negative was the primary bed is small & not supportive enough. The remaining beds were super comfy and there were plenty of pillows & blankets to go around. The hot tub was a very welcome respite after a long day on the slopes. The house was immaculate. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very communicative & without delay. We highly recommend Loafer's Lodge for a ski trip or a peaceful summer/fall getaway in the mountains.
We had a great early Spring stay at Loaferâs Lodge - well appointed, comfortable and clean. The decks and hot tub were especially nice and the house has everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay
Great house! Well appointed, very clean and super comfortable. We had an amazing stay. 5 minute drive to SugarLoaf was great. We spent nights around the gas fireplace talking for hours after great dinners in the large kitchen and dining room.
Best rental yet! I stayed with my husband and 4 close friends for the weekend of my birthday. The property was amazing. The house had everything we needed and was very close to Sugarloaf and surrounding trails. We spent the day hiking and the nights cooking and enjoying the amenities of the house. Greg was very responsive and a great host! I would not hesitate to rent this property again. Thank you for sharing this beautify property with us.
Shared this house with another family; 9 of us in total. Plenty of space, great amenities, well appointed house, very responsive host. 5 stars all day.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of Sugarloaf from the main floor.
The house itself was cozy, comfortable and extremely well-equipped. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the thought that had been put into making our stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living room with its warm fireplace was the perfect place to relax.
One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day on the slopes. We also appreciated the fact that there were plenty of towels and linens available, so we never had to worry about running out.
The location of the house was perfect - just a short drive from Sugarloaf and with nearby restaurants. We loved the convenience of being so close to everything, yet still feeling like we were in a secluded mountain paradise.
Overall, I would highly recommend this ski house to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully located home away from home.
We had an absolute blast at this property. The space was perfect for a group and very close to the mountain and outdoor center. I would recommend highly.
I stayed at Loafer's Lodge with my family and close family friends (4 adults, 5 kids total) for a long weekend of skiing at Sugarloaf. We had a fantastic stay. The house was in great condition (seemed brand new) and had everything we needed. The rooms were good sized and well organized for larger groups with kids including a room with bunk beds and playroom downstairs. All three bathrooms were also good sized and nicely finished. The kitchen had all the plates/bowls/glasses and cooking utensils we needed. The location was also great, just 15 minutes away from the Sugarloaf base lodge, and a spectacular view of the mountain out the front windows. We would love to go back!
