« We had a lovely few days in this quaint cottage. There is everything you need and very close to the village pub, where they let us park our car, as not really ideal outside the cottage. Will definitely return if we go back to the Lake Distruct. »

« Excellant accomadation. Beautiful scenery. Will be back again. Thank you »

« We booked Molly’s Pantry as a relatively last minute get away (the name helped as our daughter is called Molly) and we were so pleasantly surprised! The house is beautiful, clean and the hosts have thought of everything, including bowls and beds for furry friends! The beds were comfy and the property was spacious enough for us (two adults, two kids). It is a bit of a drive out to shops etc but there is a pub within a two minute walk and the location worked for us. Parking right outside (albeit a...

« Excellent location for where we wanted to go and visit. Great views and excellent dog walking opportunities. Look forward to staying again in the future. Dogs enjoyed themselves too. Bed very comfortable, shower very good. »

« This was an excellent place to stay, with historic ironworks in front, whitewater in behind, and a real steam-engine train passing by that looked like something out of a story book. « I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into. The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend. »

« Lovely property in a stunning location - thanks »

« Everything was ideal with this property and if you want to walk into Cartmel it’s also close enough to do so… it does seem a lot longer walking back from Cartmel however after you have sampled the excellent local ales 😬 »

« Perfect location for walking and chilling. »
