The fact that a mini BMW with a load full of garbage inside and a note on the windshield has not been towed away. Errie !!!!!! The outdoor entrance flower stands should have had flowers in them - otherwise the grounds were well kept. During the last visit 2 weeks ago the desk clerk registered us for the honours program but did not give us the password .

I found the staff very unprofessional. We were there for over 2 weeks and had to ask for the garbage and fresh towels to be done everyday. Finally by our 16th day, both of those things were done. We had to bring our cat along because we were there because of a flood in our condo. 2 of the maids were terrified of the cat. I think whoever schedules these ladies would have known that so they weren’t unduly stressed. The only staff member who deserves accolades is Melvin. He helped us find our cat under the bed and when I complained for the 14th time he ensured that the staff followed the proper order of things to be done. If we didn’t have our traumatized cat with us, we would have left after the second day.

While the environment was relatively okay and most of the staff were nice, pleasant & hospitable, the worst of my experience was with the only male staff who was on duty on the nights I stayed at the hotel. On the first night, I had stepped out to get something from my car only to be left hanging at the entrance by the rude fellow. Evidently, because it was late, the doors were locked. I did not have my card/key & rather than let me in, this dude looked up and ignored that I was at the door - in the cold- continuing with whatever he was doing. He eventually decided to let me in after I banged on the door. 2nd night, I needed a change of towels and called. It was him again. Told me I needed to come get them. Only to come down and be told i needed to bring the dirty ones before he could give me new ones. This silly fellow refused to give me towels and made me go up to bring the dirty towels down. It was the most frustrating experience & was a new one that I had to ferry towels around a hotel as though I didn't pay to lodge. I have stayed a Hampton Inn & Suites several times - in other cities and must say that this experience has put me off the brand. My last trip to Brantford was initially with Hampton in mind but I changed it last minute. While the other staff were pleasant, there was everytbing wrong with this guy who clearly has no business being in customer services. Secondly, breakfast at this hotel was sub-ar and needs improvement. Won't be staying here again.

The checking in was smooth but the room that I had booked was a studio with two queen beds. The room changed to just two queen beds without any notice at the checking in, but quick response by the supervisor once I did mention it to the reception.

Hello Emma,Unfortunately, since you have booked for April 23 and didn't show up, the reservation is no showed. Therefore, you were charged for the no show fee equivalent to 1 night stay. I understand that you have put the wrong dates on your reservation, however since these are the dates recorded on your reservation, we have to strictly go by that. We have advised that Expedia be contacted to modify your dates, however no such request were received, therefore, original booking dates were honoured. The property itself was great. However, the walls were not very soundproof. We stayed in a room that was close to the elevator. The "bing" every time someone got off on the elevator was very loud and disrupted our sleep. Also, we could hear lots of noise/conversation in the hallway.

Overall decent stay and very affordable. Staff at front desk who helped us check in wasn’t friendly and welcoming. After handing me the room key, he did not wish us a nice stay or any greeting for that matter. The room itself was very clean but air conditioning unit was very loud and old. The pillows were thin and had 0 support so getting a good sleep was difficult.

Liked the location, the size of the room maybe another chair as only one for 4 people and we had to sit on the bed s when we ate our takeout meal. With the barn door for the bathroom an exhaust fan would have been nice for sound and odors transcending into the room. There was fixtures in the room we were unsure of what function they were for. Miss having a introduction book in the room to identify nearby restaurants and anemities offered in the hotel and surrounding area. Not everyone wants to have to lookup everything online. Possible given a choice when checking in or at least told by staff where to look online for that info. Not enough wheel chair parking. We had to park in the far parking area and were drenched by the time we got into the hotel. The spaces for e- cars we empty and closer to the entrance.
