« Our unit was very clean. The unit was well furnished, excellent amenities. Outdoor needs renos. There are stairs, you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. The area is mostly quiet, but... Suites have a communicating door that let the sounds (voices and tv) go through easily. Maintenance starts making noise before 8AM every morning and nobody seems to care; I've talk to people at the desk and the answer I got meant "it is what it is, it won't change, we don't care" »

« It was all excellent. Loren the host was the best. She made sure all was good. When we texted her she responded in a very short time. One time she came down from Hera house and wanted to be sure all was good. The door lock needed a new battery and she had it replaced in a moment. She was a great host making our stay the best. We are glad we stayed here for a week and enjoyed our home away from home. »

Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. « Great communication by the host! Accommodations were flawlessly maintained, and as comfortably as we could have hoped for. The bed was very comfortable and the house was clean. Which, are two very important features to me. The hot water was a little bit of a challenge, but was fine once it made it to the shower and kitchen sink. We will definitely stay here again! »

« This is an amazing apartment!! We decided to travel last minute and everything from the booking process to communication with the owner was easy. While we did not use all the Barrier Island amenities because it’s off season (and we own another home nearby), I can tell you they are convenient and great for families.
